Great in 3D puzzles a little repetitive. By: Tmus5, on October 3, 2017 Pros: Cons: "I have played the first 3 Prof Laytons and I found that this one was good to see in 3D but there was a lot of puzzles that are just copy and pasted from eariler titles and even earlier in the game. Still a good challenge for a quick 5 minute hop on hop off experience though. |

Another sure-fire winner By: Sara E, on December 10, 2013 Pros: Cons: "I freely admit that I am a HUGE fan of the Professor Layton games - and have all of them for my 3DS. I loved this one and have completed the main adventure. This has to be one of my favourite Professor Layton games - but I usually think that as each one comes out - I thoroughly enjoyed playing it and would heartily recommend it to anyone who enjoys puzzle games :) |

This is not a valid criticism of any in game mechanic or feature. I just want to say that I'm about an hour into it and... |

A much needed renovation By: M. Johnson "Pure Nard", on October 27, 2012 Pros: Cons: "As a fan of Professor Layton I know I wasn't alone in worrying about where the series could go once I'd completed "Spectre's Call." Though the game was still entertaining to a point, it was obvious that the games' formulaic approach was wearing thin. The series needed a little change in direction and thankfully that is provided in the Professor's first outing on the 3DS. The main core of the game hasn't changed. The Professor receives another letter from another old friend describing... |
