4 Star Rating This game will test your patience and skill!
    By: P. Marck, on June 5, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Having re-bought (Normal Edition not DSE) this game I've decided to acquire the Red Rings which as it turns out are truly very challenging, because if you're not skilled enough nor have the patience to see the number of lives decreasing then don't bother collecting them as they're nothing more than a chore, but still, quite entertaining as the 'main' game was pretty easy by itself.

Just for example, in Silent Forest - Zone 3 for the 5th Red Ring I died a number of 50 more times due...

5 Star Rating Not as Bad as you might think.
By: James Tyrer, on April 21, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Sonic Lost World is one of the more "controversial" games in terms of opinions and reviews. Many people are quick to call the game a mediocre entry in the series, due to the game's unique control scheme. The game is definitely slower than the more recent Sonic games, but it does flow a lot better due to the parkour mechanic, and the slower pace allows for more precise control. The aforementioned parkour mechanic that this game introduces isn't incorporated into the level design as a...

    Cons:

"Sonic Lost World's trailer had me brimming with excitement only for that excitement to die off after a series of bad reviews I decided that I wouldn't buy this game and five months later I caved in and bought the game and my verdict? It's an amazing amount of fun.

Is it the best Sonic game ever made? No, but it is the most ambitious and offers the same amount of fun as previous instalments of this iconic game.

The level designs were criticised for being a cheap immitation...

5 Star Rating One of the best Sonic games out there
By: Juan Antonio Martinez Perona, on January 19, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"You open a game magazine, go to the page where the Sonic Lost World is, read the whole thing and look at the score. 2/10, 3/10. You close the magazine and sit on the couch. You feel depressed. That trailer back then was incredible, och after the wonderful Sonic Colour and the more or less good Sonic Generations you felt like this one, this Sonic Lost World, would be the best after Sonic Adventure. But now, everyone tell you that you're wrong...

Well... let me tell you one thing...

5 Star Rating Although it has its faults, Sonic is back once again in another brilliant outing! (Spoiler free review 4.5/5)
By: OutlawClient, on October 20, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Sonic Lost World, very goodly deviates from the previous 3d sonic formula, ditching the high speed, boost oriented gameplay, for a very gooder balance between speed and platforming, which I can say certainly works well, moving the sonic series in a positive direction.

Sonic Lost World Begins with our spiky blue hero, Sonic the Hedgehog and his sidekick Tails, giving chase to the evil dr eggman (or robotnik if you prefer), as he is up to his usual nefarious self, abducting innocent woodland...

4 Star Rating More fun than you can shake a miserly 4/10 review score at
    By: possessed.by.a.lemon, on October 20, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I love it. I love it even more because of all the professional reviewers who hate it. They must have been playing a different build of the game. Perhaps the software update which you're required to install before playing it changes everything. Who knows? Gaming journalists have never been the most trustworthy of sources. Maybe they're upset because Sega didn't give them a free meal or, more likely, they just couldn't be bothered to properly play a new Sonic title on the poor old Wii U while...

    5 Star Rating Simply great!
    By: WeB-BuyeR, on October 19, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I love how Sonic handles in this game- I got used to it in no time, soaring through the levels using the parkour system is satisfying as hell!
This game runs at gorgeous 60 frames-per-second. And the aesthetics are just beautiful. To simply put it, this is the best looking Wii U game to date.
My only complaint is that the boss battles were a little bit on the eeeh side.. mind you they weren't bad they just didn't feel that fun to play through.

5 Star Rating Lost world...... Found!
By: markyboy, on October 18, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Personally I think this game is great.
Being sonic in a 3D world again is better than ever.
Play at your own pace (jog or sprint) either collecting rings, saving the little animals or finding other items.
Or put your peddle to the metal and see how fast you can get to the end of a level.
I really like what the developers have done to this franchise and Wii U owners really must give this a chance and don't judge it after 5 minutes, the game gets better and better as you...

5 Star Rating A worthy remake of the original
    By: M. McMahon, on October 5, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"The original Wind Waker was one of the greatest Zelda games I've ever played. This title is a worthy remake of that original.

The graphics are clearly improved. This isn't just a simple upscaling to 1080p--the new shaders help bring the game alive. Frankly, it looks simply stunning compared to the original (which, at the time, also looked pretty nifty.)

The Wii U GamePad integration is excellent. It displays your items, maps and Miiverse bottles on the screen--and...
