An horror survival classic By: Alexander Ivanchev, on March 19, 2012 Pros: Cons: "What is Alan Wake? I never played the console version and I remember being really disappointed when they dropped the PC support two years ago. Alan Wake for the PC is a game which delivers in every possible way though, making up for the wait. It is what you might expect it to be - an 3rd person action adventure game in the finest tradition of the genre. Games which come to mind: Silent Hill, Alone in the Dark, Indigo Prophecy (Fahrenheit). The story is compelling and original and will very goodly... |

A great game By: G. Wilson "DEXIE", on March 14, 2012 Pros: Cons: "I love this game I purchased it for 360 when it first released and enjoyed the atmosphere very much,so much infact that I am going to buy it again for my PC. I havent seen the PC version in action but in my opinion the 360 version still looks really good with lots of lighting effects and fog that gives Alan Wake a really unique look eg it doesnt look like the typical unreal engine game. The combat has a unique spin from other games ,ie the enemies have been possesed by this force that is harmed by... |

... in the coffee. By: Shane, on November 25, 2010 Pros: Cons: "Deadly Premonition has already achieved cult status within the gaming community for being truly unlike anything else. Sure, it plays like everything else but somehow it's so bizarre that no one ever believed it'd work. You'll either love it or hate it. You play as FBI Agent York, who's visiting the town of Greenvale after a bizarre murder takes place. You've been following cases of murder all over the US where signature red seeds were left at the crime scenes. Wait, that's actually a... |

So far so good By: Nick, on August 22, 2010 Pros: Cons: "First off I am only on episode 2 and don't usually write reviews. But I felt like I wanted to because of all the bad reviews this game is getting. My opinion on this game may change as I get further in, but so far I am enjoying it a lot. The graphics are some of the best I have seen, and probably the best on Xbox 360. The lighting is fantastic and so is the draw distance. You really do feel like you are in these creepy woods at night trying to survive. And the story so far has pulled me right... |

Alan Wake: A Deserved Best-seller. By: Luke, on July 20, 2010 Pros: Cons: "Alan Wake, from Remedy Software and after years in the making, finally makes it's way onto our xbox's, and boy was it worth the wait! Setting: Alan Wake takea place in the fictional mountain town of Bright Falls, where Alan and his wife Alice come for a bit of a vacation and maybe to get Alan back into his writing, after over 2 years of writer's block. After looking around his rented Cabin, he soon finds Alice in trouble and before he knows it, he's in his crashed car, in a... |

The first season of a great game By: Omnes, on June 25, 2010 Pros: Cons: "For a few years, I had heard of this game that Sam Lake wanted to do, a story in which a writer becomes the hero of a story that he apparently wrote, but doesn't remember doing so. And unlike what I was expecting, which was a game a bit rushed out and unpolished for sometimes certain companies don't want to do great games, but instead rushed out products so that can get as much money as possible, to the detriment of the game and the designer's talent, this game is instead another proof that Sam... |

The Outer Limits for gamers By: G. Hanks "hanks1980", on May 31, 2010 Pros: Cons: "Coming into this game expecting traditional survival horror is likely to leave many disappointed. At first the dialogue seemed to balance between average and shoddy, occasionally cheesy and jarring to initial preconceptions. It's only after a while that it becomes apparent that the game shares more in common with a straight to TV Stephen King adaption than any truly spine chilling horror. Once this realisation occurs it makes the game much easier to absorb and enjoy as Remedy really play to... |
