3 Star Rating Game fine, downloading it hellish.
By: David, on June 25, 2016
    Pros:
    Cons:

"The product is fine, actually good value, BUT the process of getting the download from EA / Origin was tortuous. Now I have finally managed to set up the appropriate accounts ( several small downloads, installations and new password requests later ), it will probably be plain sailing if I buy that way again, but it wasn't at all user friendly as a first time buyer.

I've just edited this to add that part of the problem may have been Windows 10 related - but still, having to verify new...

    Cons:

"this is a wonderful, clever and tricky game and i have played a lot of games over the years but this is in a world of its own and one of the best games i have ever played.
once you can get it running its an great journey, great graphics and clever tricky enemys in a wide verity of shapes sizes and attack patterns.
there really is no way to describe it you have to see you tube footage or play it.

WARNING - this game has some serous flaws on the PC and i am shocked that...

    Oh God.
    The Glitches.
The first one came in The Mad Hatter's Domain, where I couldn't actually use the umbrella, then my ranged weapon wouldn't switch out to my sword.
And this was after checking the internet several times for fixing, altering the game's readme, uninstalling and reinstalling the game and restarting my profile. The game itself is amazing, brilliant storyline, but they...

"OK, I'll start with the positives. Graphically stunning. The levels are truly nightmarish in their depiction. A level where Alice jumps around on playing cards way up in the clouds is not for anyone nervous about heights. The storyline is engrossing, and the London sequences show us some truly grotesque characters. The foes you face are varied, and you have some pretty impressive weapons, especially when upgraded. Replayability factor is high. There is a lot to do and find, and you're unlikely...

4 Star Rating Great - dark, twisted and shocking, but great!
By: AnimaSola, on June 19, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"First off, PLEASE don't buy this for younger children: Despite the fact its Alice in Wonderland - it most certainly is NOT a kids game and it has a 15 certificate for a very good reason - the content is not only very adult (f-bomb/ c-bomb grade bad language and the obvious violence), but it is extremely disturbing too (going into it too much here would ruin the "twist", but suffice to say, the general play is dark, disconcerting and chilling, and the climax of the plot genuinely horrible)...

    5 Star Rating Brilliant!

    Cons:

"Got this on release date, and it comes with the first Alice game that was made for the PC 11 years ago. I thought I would download it and start that first before playing Madness Returns.

The first Alice plays like a PSone game. It's been remastered in HD and has trophies, and looks ok. I'm probably a quarter way through it but it is showing it's age, so instead as it was free content, I thought I'd put it on hold until I have nothing else to play.....so I started playing Madness...

"Alice - Madness returns is a very beautiful and very good looking game. you will need a good PC to run it in the very high settings. Ive been playing for 5 hours and only 25% of the game is completed. It must be a very long game. Its a bit like Medieval on the psone / and Evil twin on dreamcast and pc.if you like these games than its a must buy for you. The game has Drm. after installing you have to Activate the serial code online. You DO NOT need to make a EA account to play. After you done this you...
