Great By: Karen, on October 1, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Good fun game and glad I took a chance and purchased it, genuine in genuine box. Have ordered from them before and would order again, and would certainly recommend to a friend. |

Wow. By: CraigMooGa "MooGa", on December 15, 2010 Pros: Cons: "Best RPG of all time. Ever. As other reviews have stated - Modren RPGs, the mass effects, the dragon age... They all mimic this game. Pick a team of 6 adventurers from a pretty wide cast of NPCs, all with different personalities and motivations. Go on a crazy adventure around a magical, expansive and immersive world. Save your soul from the god of murder. Yes, they are all standard themes in fantasy movies, games, books, whatever... but simply for immersion,... |

Endlessly playable By: mtp, on June 17, 2010 Pros: Cons: "This is the only game that I keep coming back to. The game as supplied is excellent but once you have completed it there are loads of mods out there that make it endlessly replayable. There are extra NPCs such as Valen, Solaufein, Kelsey and mod such as Tactics that turn trivial fights into epics. I recommend also getting "Throne of Bhaal" and installing that before starting SoaA because it adds some interesting extras to the game. |

A roleplaying and storytelling masterpiece By: Dan, on February 16, 2010 Pros: Cons: "I have played these to death and every few years pick them up again and have another go. I would recommend you google, download and install some user modifications to play these games: "bgtutu" allows you to play the original and expansion using the second ones game engine. "bg1 unfinished business for tutu" and "unfinished business" adds content that was cut from the finished versions of both games. So without changing the feel of the games they are fleshed out a little. "bg... |

Forget Dragon Age (for a while) By: Mr. Matthew C. Franks "zaarin_2003", on January 8, 2010 Pros: Cons: "I know what you're thinking... how can a 9 year old game be better than Dragon Age? Or Mass Effect? It can't be. Wrong. I'm a big big fan of both those games, but both, especially DA, are mere immitations. Pretenders to the throne. Baldur's Gate 2, whilst not looking as pretty of course, is bigger, longer, and yes, more complex and detailed than DA. The story is better, the characters, who like to put in their 2 cents and have their own quests just like modern... |
