Developers behind it have previously worked on such titles as Arx Fatalis and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic. The story of the game takes place in the industrial city of Dunwall, that was modeled after late 19th century London and Edinburgh. The city is ruled by an oppressive regime. In Dunwall, technology and magical forces coexist and the main hero of the story is a living example of this rule. Players take the role of Corvo Atano, the Empress' legendary bodyguard. After being framed for the murder of his former employee, he is offered the chance to exact vengeance against the Lord Regent and others responsible by The Outsider. The Outsider grants Corvo its mark, imbuing the disgraced bodyguard with magical abilities.....from SCDKey

    By: A. R., on September 1, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Dishonored was one my 2012 favorite games. When I had the chance I jumped to this edition because it offers all the DLCs and I really wanted to have the possibility to play it in the PS4. In that sense, this is an great pack with enormous value. The game and the DLCs are absolutely gorgeous and the whole collection is less than 24 pounds. If you have never played it this game is a must buy.

However, if you are veteran to the series you will also notice that this edition is also a...

    2 Star Rating "Definitive"-ly disappointing.

    Pros:
    Cons:

"I loved Dishonored when it came out n 2012, so I jumped at the chance to have the DLC and game in one package on a next-gen console.

Sadly, its not much different. To me, a remaster ought to improve on the last iteration with extra content, better graphics, and tweaks to the game itself (like Metro Redux). With this, you get none of that.

Considering the PS4 handles TLOUR at 60fps, amongst other very pretty games like Far Cry 4 at 30fps, I was surprised this is capped at...

"Dishonored is an excellent stealth game with a steampunk style, a story of political intrigue, great gameplay mechanics and clear influences from other games that it builds upon. It presents its world in a unique visual style that brings its characters and locations to life.

You play the role of Corvo, the Empress's bodyguard. After her assassination you are framed for her murder and must escape prison, seek allies and start the fight back against the plotters who have seized...

    Pros:
    Cons:

"You are Corvo Attano, and you were the Lord Protector and bodyguard to the beloved Empress of Dunwall ... until she was murdered.

We open with Corvo returning from a secret mission to Dunwall with what the Empress hopes will be messages of help and support. What he delivers is less than stellar news, however, before he can talk it over with her they come under attack by magically appearing and disappearing assassins. Corvo is found with the body of the Empress, and with her...

    5 Star Rating Insanely Good

"As soon as I saw the reveal trailer I knew I would love Dishonored. I just had no idea how much. You can liken parts of Dishonored to so many games, but it remains unlike anything I have ever played. Games like Half-Life 2, Assassin's Creed and Thief have been name-dropped, but it's not like those games. This is something else entirely.

When you first step into Dishonored as Corvo Attano (coolest name ever), you find you have been on a mission to the neighbouring Isles for Empress...

"I purchased this edition of Dishonored when it came out. As Special editions go it is not too bloated with pointless stuff, it contains the game, a pack of tarot cards and the "Arkane Assassin Pack", which is a few downloadable extras which you will find useful in game. If you like collecting, the cards are good but there are no figurines or other bits to display. An art book would have been good, but never mind. Below are my thoughts on the game itself.

By: jamie, on May 28, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"This game is amazing because you can get supernatural powers which are really good. When you assassinate people it is really fun and realistic. The sword fighting is really good and really realistic. The game is set in the time of the plague so there's lots of rats that eat people. To get past swarms of rats you have to pick up a dead body and throw it into the rats. The weapons are really cool. The best thing about the game is that you can go anywhere you like in the mission to find money,...

By: Orp, on May 1, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"This game is that good I actually played through it twice, something I have only ever done with Bioshock and Fallout:New Vegas.

The story line is excellent, the game play smooth and engaging and the game mechanics are pretty much faultless.

The campaign is rather short if you play on high chaos (kill everything) but on low chaos (play like it's splinter cell) it takes longer and I enjoyed it more and explored much more of the maps. My advise would be to jump straight into...

    "Dishonored is magnificent.

Dunwall is a world of plague, corruption, decay, superstition, distrust, magic, intolerance, survival and most of all it's oppressive. Yet conversely it's also a world of technological breakthrough and industry (think Thief 2 the Metal Age) that is well and truly now on the down slope. Society is gradually collapsing on the back of an almost unstoppable plague and subsequent rat infestation. And the leadership itself is involved in a desperate internal...
