"This game was bought for my son. Can't give 5 stars as the game wouldn't work. My son put it in the pc and it asked for the CD to be put in the CD Rom drive whe it was already there. I have given 4 stars because of the customer service. When I brought the problem to the attention of the company they were more than happy to replace the game.

    Cons:

"This is completely different form Fallout 3 and New Vegas; however the past Fallout games are unique and fun in their way. This disc has Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics which make this a good buy.

There is a problem with this game on Windows 7 and May require you to have the Screen Resolution up and download a High Res. Patch in order to play Fallout 1 and 2. I still would know how to get Tactics working due it wanting the actual game instead of this disc.

    This game however will...

4 Star Rating Fallout 2: Perpare to lose sleep
By: B. Nagle Adamson "Another stereotypical gamer..., on March 13, 2008
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Well if you haven't heard Fallout before then you are missing a critical piece of gaming history.

    Why is it so good?

The game itself puts your character into the midst of a post nuclear wasteland, that used to be America, simpy trying to survive the wastes.
As part of a tribe that the protagonist of the first Fallout set up, you find out that you are his descendant.
But not all is well...your village is suffering under the strain of background radiation, mutated...

5 Star Rating Only cockroaches and Keith Richards survive nuclear winter
    By: B. Ballard, on August 25, 2006
    Pros:
    Cons:

"The Fallout series truly stands the test of time for its post-apocalyptic RPG/Strategy gaming. The "SPECIAL" character generation system offers great scope for customisation allowing the player to fine tune the protagonist to be successful at a range of skills from Big Guns and First Aid to Bartering and Gambling. You may find that you have to start over several times until you create a character that best suits the way you want to play the game but that's half the fun. The environments in all...

"... who can't remember Ron Perlman voicing this shattering truth, once ago in a what now seems such a distant past?

I am sitting on four copies of Fallout and three of Fallout 2, all originals for sure. If have aquired them over the years, times because the disks got damaged (heresy!) and times because I lended them. Honestly, both games are that good.

Fallout - What can I say? Everyone who hasn't played it should do so now! It's dense atmosphere, intricate combat system,...

5 Star Rating Classic RPG - Unbeatable
By: Mildly Aloof, on September 12, 2003
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I will be short and to the point, to begin with anyway: this is my favourite RPG of all time. Nope, don't question or agrue, buy/play/see for yourself.

When Fallout was release way back in '97 or thereabouts I remember a small amount of excitement. It gave freedom to do whatever you wanted near enough with so many little twists and secrets you could play it several times through and still not get them all. Turn-based combat with different zones to aim for, shoot/whack your opponent...
