4 Star Rating The usual time drain
By: Captain Clam, on July 20, 2016
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I put many hours into FM 2011 and at some point or another, I think I managed every team in the Premier League. After a long break from the series, I return with Football Manager 2016.

Since it's a game of football, it's not got a great scope for changes, other than an updated roster, new aesthetic, and tweaks to the match engine. So once you get used to the new layout for menus, it's really business as usual.

There are plenty of small changes that I noticed, such as new...

2 Star Rating Stay clear, not worth any investment
By: Zeekey, on April 29, 2016
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Poor game. I want to like it but every time I have given it a chance it becomes immediately apparent that the match engine is a mess. I've played every Football Manager game since 2005 with the exception of 2013 and 2014. The quality of these games have been on the decline since FM 2011. This is mainly due to match engine that has for some reason just become downright terrible. The same predictable patterns of play. No matter what playstyle I set to achieve it plays exactly the same. Somehow a...

1 Star Rating Will frustrate the hell out of you!
By: Andrew Cockburn, on April 2, 2016
    Pros:
    Cons:

"This game is horrible now. I do understand tactics and I have a good idea what to do, I have had very good success over individual games but it is impossible to get any success long term. The in game advice is stupid, we need to play shorter passing, minutes later, we need to play a more direct passing. In fact if you follow the in game advice it will rip your tactic to pieces. Opponents string passes together like Brazil, opponent goalkeepers are world class, players hardly ever tackle. The game...

3 Star Rating New Improvements, same old game
By: fruitloops, on April 1, 2016
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Good game, until you realise just how random it all is. The team talks are far too influential. I don't normally reload, but i've been experimenting to see how random results are, and the team talks can have a ridiculous amount of influence on the result. The team talk options are so pointless, they shouldn't have much of an effect. Half the time, there's only really one realistic option, the other half none of the options really fit what you would want to say. Two or three words difference in...

"Bought this as its the first time i have played the game. Price is good for the product. Downloaded this onto a linux system and works fine and with easy instructions to follow. As I'm no expert I'm very pleased with the game and as my football manager its a class game and so addictive to play. Defiantly Buy this game!!

5 Star Rating A Great Game
    By: D A Barnes, on January 2, 2016
    Pros:
    Cons:

"WWE 2K16 is a great game for wrestling fans. With great gameplay and graphics, it is an ideal experience for newcomers and veterans of the series. It is a huge improvement over last year's installment. The new limited reversal mechanic is a challenging new addition, forcing you to think carefully about when you reverse your opponent's moves.
The MyCareer gamemode is the best feature of this game, returning from last year. This time around your WWE superstar can have rivalries, say things...

5 Star Rating Evolution, not revolution.
    By: M. Freeman, on November 17, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"For those looking for a massive upgrade on FM 2015 with lots of exciting new features, prepare to be disappointed. What SI Games have done with this year's edition of their highly acclaimed series is made a number of tweaks here and there to add depth to gameplay. And they work.

For example, the tactics screen now resembles a chalk board in the dressing room with diagrams explaining the various instructions. Now you can switch to Attacking play and instantly see how that effects...

4 Star Rating Not quite 5 star warranted
By: Joshua Glennon, on November 16, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Oooooh the first person not to give 5 star, I feel harsh now.

4 star means I like it, but it is not perfect, which is exactly how I'd describe it. I feel that bar some better graphics and a tiny bit better tactical decisions, this game is effectively FM15 with bug fixes, updated squads and leagues. The layout is the same, and the whole game is just very similar. An improvement, yes, but not too different that it warrants a perfect 5.

A few of the problems... transfer...

1 Star Rating Hard to perform finishers
By: Wasim Shah, on November 9, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"There is a simular post to this but it is really frustrating when you have a signature or a finishing move built up and even when dazing the opponent it still will not perform the finisher. Some occasions you can hit the finisher without any problems but most of the time you are just running arouind trying to re-attempt the finishing move but have to wait for it, The manual is just a link to the website, why cant there be an on screen manual in the options menu rather than linking to a url that...

2 Star Rating Half-hearted. Should be lower in price to reflect comparative weaknesses of PS3 edition
By: NoviceoftheBayne, on October 29, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I normally buy every second or third release. This was my first since FIFA13 and for the first time I cannot see anything resembling two years-worth of development. As for what has changed, it feels much less fun and sparkly than it did. The customisation options are harder to find and navigate, and the graphics are basically unchanged in 3+ years. Menu load times/navigations are still long and tedious. It feels clear that the makers are abandoning the PS3 as a supporting console. Fine, I'm all...

2 Star Rating Great Effort from SI, But Match Engine Awful.
By: Jack Williams, on November 9, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"So it looks like this is the first 'proper' review on here without someone trying to be funny or troll.

The first thing you notice about the game is that the menu layout is completely different. SI have ditched the top menu bar in favour of a more aesthetically pleasing side menu bar with less options. I personally like this, as you'll find a lot of related elements of the game in the right areas, I.e. There is now a 'scouting' section which not only contains assignments, reports...
