Challenges rather than just a straight shoot-em-up By: Fran_ad, on August 7, 2017 Pros: Cons: "Superb game! My first look into the Hitman series and am liking it. Once I finish this one will no doubt be looking for more. I like the fact it's not just a straight shoot-em-up game. There is a lot of strategy and thinking that goes with it and love the use of disguises. Makes you think a little this one! |

Three of the best. By: Mark Lockett, on May 30, 2017 Pros: Cons: "Excellent games, a different approach for the first person shooter. Not to everyone's taste it takes patience to "stealth", but there is plenty of action too for those who want it. I have no hesitation in recommending this triple pack. |

Good, but a little short of being great By: Saad, on October 9, 2014 Pros: Cons: "As someone who had never played any of the older Hitman games it was always going to feel awkward jumping in when several older games have been released, though in the end Absolution was more than good enough to turn me in to a convert. There are a few drawbacks but in general this is a solid game that's only a few steps away from being one of the true greats. To start with, the game has done really well in terms of presentation. The graphics look slick, the voice acting is very well... |

I Love This Game! By: Warks2010, on December 6, 2013 Pros: Cons: "This is the best Hitman by far..... well so far :) It has a fantastic storyline. Great set of characters and even once you have completed it you could go back and play it again and again. So many different scenarios in which to complete missions and Agent 47 shows no mercy in completing his task in an efficient, clean manner. One thing I loved about this game which you don't get in many games, is the ability to change your clothing and disguise yourself as a myriad of different characters,... |

Incredible replayability By: Owb, on November 21, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Hitman is a game i have played over the years ,this version does not dissappoint. The game is underated buy many on this comment page but i will correct that, hitman is a game that can be customized ,so if you want the stealth hitman the game allows this game play. Steam problem ,yes steam is a pain in the neck, but if you want to buy pc games you must have it. |

Hitman, game hit By: Matt Tomkins, on May 27, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Hitman, a game of patience, tactics, adaptability and survival. However if you have never been a fan of the hitman series because of there difficulty fear not this latest game caters for the call of duty, splinter cell conviction players out there. As agent 47 you're a man who has no name just a number and has spent all his life learning to kill with guns, knifes (and in this game) plungers, that's right PLUNGERS. You start the game by taking out the woman who all ways gave you your assignment... |

When is Hitman not Hitman? By: djnev, on February 28, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Answer: When it's Hitman Absolution. Background information: I have played all the Hitman games before and if you want to know what made the Hitman games so great and why this title was eagerly anticipated, play Hitman Blood Money. Then when you come to play this you won't recognise the series. They try to share similarities but what made the original Hitman series great was the complete open-ended way you can play the game. Basically you are presented with a 'playground'... |

Bit of a dissapointment. By: W. Broom, on December 12, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Early indications on Hitman Absolution are pretty good, the new gameplay features work and appear robust, the dark sense of humour is there...the graphics are very good, and it feels enough like the older hitman games mechanically and in terms of how you move about. However, one of the key changes to the system turns out to be a bit of a disaster - those in the same outfit as you can work out you are not one of their crew. In theory this is very good but in practice it means you have to swap... |

Good Action-Stealth Game, but definitly no worthy Hitman By: David, on December 10, 2012 Pros: Cons: "The game itself really isn't all that bad. The story is quite epic and many game mechanics like point shooting are really bringing up some fun. All in all Absolution is a decent action game with many interesting and challenging stealth elements as already known from Splinter Cell and others. But unfortunately the gameplay structure has lost its key moment: The freedom of exploring complex levels and planning an execution according to ones preferences. This element has always made the... |

Not enjoying it really By: R. Port, on December 8, 2012 Pros: Cons: "I've been a fan and enjoyed the other Hitman games in the past. Not really enjoying this one. Feels frustrating and linear. Ordinarily I would have sold the game on.... but I now realise that Steam locks the game and I am unable to sell it. Very irritating and this will now affect what games I buy in the future. I'll probably have to wait until the price comes down on new releases.... so it's not such a waste of money if they are not that good. |

Perfection. By: JD, on November 26, 2012 Pros: Cons: "This game has received some mild criticism for 'dumbing down'. But this game still feels completely true to the Hitmans of old. Brilliant visuals and a much smarter AI system make this gam a vast improvement technically than any other Hitman game. Professional edition box is very very nice and looks great on the shelf. The art book is great as well. Not a flimsy gloss paper floppy paperback but a very nice hardback book. The game comes with DLC which only comes to a total of about £2.50 on the... |

Perfection ... at a price By: M. Wenzl "harlequin21", on November 23, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Perhaps the defining characteristic of the Hitman series was its flawed genius. Clunky gameplay and a plethora of bugs were offset by novel originality and an atmospheric sandbox world. In `Hitman: Absolution', IO Interactive have perfected the formula albeit at a price. First off, the perfection: never before has Agent 47 been so charged with menace. What's more, you feel like a killer, a professional whose trade is artful murder. This has been pulled off in a couple of ways. First,... |

Brilliant, 47 is back with a (silenced) bang. By: B. white "UNDEAD WOLF 8D - Gamertag", on November 20, 2012 Pros: Cons: "I've been a fan of the Hitman games since the 2nd, silent assassin. Since when I was aged 12 and couldn't really get a silent assassin rating, nor understand what the game was really about. Yet I loved it, and ended up getting the others as they followed. The last game we played would have been Bloodmoney, that was an enjoyable game and thus I looked quite forward to this one. Onto the game. I was worried like many fans the game had gone all linear and perhaps had been dumbed down, but I'm happy to say this isn't the case. GAMEPLAY: 9/10 Where to start, I guess the menu. There are a nice number of options with which the player can configure Absolution. From turning off all of the tips and helpers when using Instincts to changing what thumb stick is to enter sneak. There's also several other things you can check such as your statistics, challenges, and safe house which isn't an actual safe house but the place where you can check all your weapons,... |
