5 Star Rating Great game with amazing graphics
By: Christopher J. Cowen, on June 8, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Metro: Last Light is a single-player first-person shooter video game with survival horror and stealth elements incorporated into it. The game was developed by Ukrainian studio 4A Games. This game is the second Metro game, the first installment, Metro 2033 was incredible. Metro: Last Light is also great but a little weaker than the first game. But with that said this game is above most of today's games in its strength of story and outstanding graphics. The game really embeds you in its world...

"I can honestly say I was not expecting anything special from Metro Last Light but WOW! Why did it not get more advertisement? I'd never even heard of It until I came across an online gameplay video on Youtube!
Good storyline, great graphics, great lighting effects, enemy A.I and even the sound effects give this game a real sense of atmosphere. I've played a lot of "scary" games but so far this one blows them all away.... Creatures creeping around and has you on "tip toes" waiting for...

    2 Star Rating Infinite,
    By: Mr. D, on November 25, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Initially this game seems wonderful, the city of Columbia is portrayed beautifully and a very good deal of care has gone into the architecture and environments. The steampunk, retrofuturist theme is excellently pulled off. Unfortunately, as I progressed through the linear narrative I soon realized that something about the game felt very hollow. The combat quickly becomes a strain - soon I was just spamming my vigors to make the latest horde of George Washingtons and other enemies disappear as soon...

5 Star Rating An exceptionally well-crafted first-person adventure
By: Pyke Bishop, on November 24, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Metro Last Light returns you to a Moscow devastated by nuclear war. Humanity, hoping to avoid the dangerous radiation and hideous mutants plaguing the surface, has banded together in the underground metro system. Depending on how you played, Metro 2033 might have allowed you to make an important choice at the game's conclusion. Last Light assumes you chose to destroy the creatures known as The Dark Ones, scorching their home with missiles and scouring them from the face of the Earth. But a...

    5 Star Rating loved it
By: pyroslasher, on July 21, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I really enjoyed the first game so I had high expectations and it didn't disappoint, it was a really good game. I love post apocalyptic games and this has it's own edge to it. You do need to play the first game to have a true understanding to what is going on with the politics and the monsters you are fighting but if you take your time and listen to the gossip of the ai's and the storyline its self you will be able to pick up the most of what happened in the first game.

    Anyway, the...

4 Star Rating I want to live in Neo-Paris
By: David Carrington, on July 21, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Having now completed the game, I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the sci-fi story. Despite the flaws in the combat system, I'm glad I persevered with this game as the last 2 of 9 chapters really did conclude the story well. Nine hours of gameplay in it for me, which is reasonable.

The combat is bad. Dull, repetitive, and to be honest boring. I wish more moves had been animated for this game with more flexibility. It wound me up a *lot* that the QTE finishing moves for bosses of the...

"Metro Last Light is a very underated Game at this point in Time.Hopefully more Gamers will become aware of this Gem of a Game. The Plot of the Game is as follows.Moscow has been devestated by Nuclear War,the remaining Survivors live underground in the Moscow sub way system.Various Factions have grown up in the Post Apocalypse..Reds,Nazis,Bandits,Mutants..you play as Artyom a Member of an Elite group of Rangers.People have been trying to compare this Game to Fallout..This Game is NOTHING like...

3 Star Rating Good, but not THAT good
By: PJ Junior "Puttz", on May 29, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I'm a tad surprised at the 4 and 5 star reviews of this game but each to their own I suppose.

If, like me, you've played more FPS games than you care to remember you wont find anything new or particularly exciting in Metro: Last Light.
Ground breaking it aint and it is certainly NOTHING like the Fallout games despite what it says on the box! Where Fallout was an epic open world adventure Metro is an extremely linear and fairly standard FPS with little or no interaction between...

4 Star Rating Last Light proves itself as a AAA contender
By: Mark Andrew, on May 26, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"So perhaps you missed Metro 2033? Maybe you played it and delved into the ruins of post apocalyptic Moscow and the deep, dark and infested tunnels of the metro system beneath the surface? I suppose it doesn't really matter because even though Last Light continues on from the first game you can instantly dive into this offering and enjoy a very unique experience.

In not so many words you are Artyom: a survivor and now a ranger. You live beneath the radiated surface of Russia,...

5 Star Rating Metro Last Light - The start of a new series?
By: N. Furmston "Limafox", on May 17, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"By playing Metro Last Light I believe I've experienced something truly amazing with regards to the FPS genre - depth. Something more 'obvious' titles seem to lack in abundance. There are layers to the gameplay experience that go far beyond any other shooter I've played. I truly hope this is the start of a long series of Metro games to rival the typical titles (I shalt mention, but you know them) that I'm quite bored of by now. Great work 4A!

5 Star Rating Storytelling art at its best.
By: Penny Saver, on April 11, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I've just finished playing this game. Reality doesn't seem quite as stimulating as the journey I've been on over the last few days. Its been a rollercoaster ride. I've certainly played better shooters, though to be fair, there is nothing wrong with the choice of firepower or special powers. Its just that this game isn't really about shooting things. What this game is about, is the story. Quite simply, its the most immersive game I've ever played, by a country mile.

    Now, this makes a...

5 Star Rating Would you kindly....
By: Mark Andrew, on March 28, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Bioshock Infinite is a strange beast. Whether you are flying around Columbia on it's sky rails, incinerating enemies with the new Vigors or simply taking a late night stroll with Elizabeth through some of the City's more desolate locations...you are constantly aware that you are taking part in something quite extra-ordinary and almost divine in it's narrative.

Maybe the developers wanted the game to slowly burn, at least initially. A mixture of ingredients thrown into the pot and...

2 Star Rating Visually stunning (if your PC is good enough) but is short and feels like an empty gaming experience
    By: L. Hubbard, on March 9, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Crysis 3 is the lastest installment of the franchise. After reading some great reviews online, and thought Crysis 2 was better than a lot of other people, I took the step of preordering the game...the phrase "act in haste, repent at leasure" springs to mind.

Visually it is stunning, however the PC requirements are for the more top end PCs. Even if you have the specs to run it, it doesn't mean you can play it with the high graphics setting. I would check out the site I posted in the...

4 Star Rating Well worth buying.
By: Amazon Customer, on March 22, 2010
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Metro 2033 is an interesting story. The atmosphere is great. Pretty spooky most of the time. The mutants are quite scary (and fast). The human A.I. does vary. Some are a bit dim but others are a fair challenge.
I didn't find the ammo a big issue. Most of the time I found enough as I went through the levels. You can also buy ammo at other metro stations. Some of the more expensive weapons are well worth saving your currency for.
Having to use a gas-mask in some levels is a great idea...
