Very fun By: Ellie Bird, on November 13, 2017 Pros: Cons: "For a Lego game this one is quite immersive and very open world incorporating the whole of middle earth seen in the original trilogy and providing a wide variety of characters. It’s fun and sticks to the storyline so well. |

Give it a go By: Mr. J. K. Johnson, on January 15, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Just thought I'd add a bit of support for this game as the negative reviews here seem to suggest that people didn't like the game because they didn't like the style of play on offer, rather than the game not being good at what it does offer. It's true that initially you can feel a little alienated from the action in this game whilst you get your head around what's being asked of you. If you were hoping for a button-mashing hack'n'slasher you will feel let down. However, once you begin to... |

A strong, story-focussed, combat driven game By: S. Smith, on December 26, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Basically, you're an Orc commando set out to kill the Human emperor, to try and buy your people some relief from the war. You pair up with a Goblin to accomplish the mission, and I'm loathe to discuss the why as I hate spoilers. Gameplay is solid, unlike most RPG's it's not very loot focused. No looting enemy corpses, why would you want puny human sized weapons anyway? No smashing barrels, no destructible environmentals, if there's a chest or a bag you can loot, you'll know... |

A lego game to rule them all.. By: S. A. Rutter, on November 25, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Lego Lord Of The Rings, is quite simply the stand out of all Lego games to date. Not just for the fact that, they've chosen a huge name 'Lord Of The Rings' which in its own right, is a huge success through books and the films.. But it expands everything Lego has done so far to another level. Not just the open world aspect which they implemented into the 'Lego Batman' but they've also added RPG elements that fit perfectly well with the Lord Of The Rings story. It's not 'Skyrim' or any other game... |

One Lego game to rule them all By: Mark Andrew, on November 24, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Once you have put the disc in and got things underway you will be treated to the opening of Fellowship of the ring, narrated by Cate Blanchett. Then its on to the last stand of men and Elves against the all powerful Sauron which you actively take part in. Needless to say that this game is incredibly faithful to the Peter Jackson movies and all audio, save that of minor characters, is taken directly from the films. The story of the one ring is explained and then you are put in charge of... |

Decent game but can take a little getting used to. By: Mark Andrew, on October 14, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Of Orcs and Men really hasn't had a lot of marketing thrown it's way. I suspect that a lot of people didn't even know it was coming out. I remember reading an article on it sometime ago and watching some early gameplay videos. The concept alone seemed quite good, an Orc and a Goblin travelling together and fighting back against the Empire of man. Ultimately this isnt a straight forward action game. It's highly tactical and very unforgiving. Even on normal difficulty I have really slogged... |

Still Brilliant Fun! By: Samuel Connolly, on January 25, 2012 Pros: Cons: "I purchased the game knowing exactly what to expect as I have been a long-time player of WarCraft III. I re-purchased it after moving abroad and giving away all my games to my father and sister (who also enjoy the game!) Armed with new and much faster computer than my previous one this game runs like a dream, but can still be played on surprisingly low-spec machines without much trouble at all. The graphics are very good. I really like the ability to zoom into my bases and... |

Dated but challenging By: M. Artley, on September 28, 2005 Pros: Cons: "Warcraft is one of the forerunners of the large real time strategy genre and is certainly one of the better offerings in terms of playability and longevity. As one of the oldest it appears dated in terms of graphics, but this doesn't detract from the game play. The main aim is to play as orc or human and destroy the opposing side in a series of scenarios, gathering resources in order to build bigger, better and faster. Its major failing as far as I am concerned is that it gets too hard and... |

Great fun and truly unique By: , on November 20, 2004 Pros: Cons: "If you like sports games and you like RTS games but find gathering resources and building bases a bit tedious, then you should love this! The single player mode allows you some simple team management features, and your players develop their skills with each match they play. At the hardest setting the computer will provide you with a real challenge. The multiplayer mode allows you to play one off games or in ladder competitions against other players on the internet. 3v3 or 2v2 is... |
