Amazing expansion By: Darth Sparky, on July 29, 2015 Pros: Cons: "Amazing expansion for an already awesome game. I've recently become preferred status, and buying this has let me into 2 of the latest expansions - Rise of The Hutt Cartel and The Shadow of Revan. I haven't even started the Revan one yet, but the opportunities the expansions offer are amazing. Well worth the money, and especially compares to some other, more expensive games. |

Great game, great value By: Voyager360, on March 11, 2014 Pros: Cons: "Ok so it may seem weird buying a game that has gone free to play, which is available for free download on the official site. But first of all you get the box with in my opinion a very good looking cover and the three installation discs. If you prefer to physically own games, this is already a good deal. Please note that there isn't much of a manual included and for the people who don't have the best internet connection thinking this avoids a huge download, you'll still need to download the... |

Ultimately, only fun if you enjoy difficulty or teamwork. By: Random Name 10101, on August 12, 2012 Pros: Cons: "I would describe it as the best MMO I've ever played; not hard as I've not played that many, but it definitely stands out. Typical top-notch Bioware elements here; epic landscapes, soundtrack and storytelling. Very engrossing and does draw you back in. Ultimately though, its probably not worth it unless you enjoy grinding through quests or know other people who play this regularly. Early game is definitely more enjoyable in terms of gameplay as there is a nice mix of easier and harder zones and... |

KOTOR as an MMO By: robsevk, on December 21, 2011 Pros: Cons: "Admittedly I was at best sceptical over Bioware's announcement - back in 2008 - that they would henceforth continue the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic franchise (which I adore) as an MMO. I don't like MMOs; I find them more often than not to be shallow and the worst representations of video games as a leisure activity. Also, the communities in-game and over the internet seem to attract the worst examples of gamer. When I entered the universe of Star Wars: The Old Republic, I... |

The best ever X-box game? By: M. Paddon, on November 22, 2010 Pros: Cons: "I've been a gamer for nearly 30 years, and during that time you remember fondly games that have moved you, enthralled you, and been just plain hard to put down and go to sleep. I won't list them all of course, but of recent games I would say you are talking games like the orginal Halo, World of Warcraft, and Modern Warfare 2 have been the types of games that fit the mold. Well Mass Effect 2 is for me another to add to that list of exceptional games, and I'll try and explain the reasons why here... |

Way better than expected By: G. Devine, on December 29, 2009 Pros: Cons: "Just played through the whole game with my 5 year old son. He loved it. One reviewer (on a games review site) said it is trying to copy the game play of Lego Star Wars but gets it 100% wrong. As I was buying this for a young boy I took this as a recommendation, not a criticism and was not disappointed. Like the Lego series, you cannot die and it is a little repetitive - perfect for a 5 year old! It is not challenging for an experienced gamer. Not sure how the PEGI ratings work but I would... |

Great game... By: Clinton Lim, on June 9, 2005 Pros: Cons: "I've played the original, and I am a great fan of it. It was a great game. However, I try to treat games as if they were original, so my expectations don't affect my review. |

PC Game of 2003 By: Sam D, on December 31, 2003 Pros: Cons: "Knights of the Old Republic, was an acclaimed success on Xbox, shooting straight to the top of the charts, and with good reason. BioWare seems to have the Midas touch, and the developers have proved themselves able to handle this typically problematic license with their usual class. This is the best Star Wars game ever and the best PC game released in 2003. Based on the d20 role-playing system, Knights is set four thousand years before Episode 1, at a time when Jedi are plentiful... |

Let the saga continue... By: "socrates2479", on August 14, 2003 Pros: Cons: "I managed to get a hold of this game from the states, and there hasn't been a game that has had me this hooked since Halo. When i bought baldurs gate: dark alliance, i was expecting somrthing like the PC version, but ended up with a gauntlet clone. this time though, Bioware have done themselves proud. This is Baldurs Gate how it shoud have been, but with lightsabres and Jedi. For those who have played BG on PC, the format of the game is much the same, real-time combat, but pausable... |
