    Pros:
    Cons:

"Came into this game after 'Conviction' (The previous title) which although had some major faults, I really enjoyed playing over and over because I'm weird like that. This game is absolutely great as a sequel as unlike Conviction before it, you have full control over how you approach a mission. You've got three play-styles that the game actively recognizes as you play, these being:

Assault (Play it the wrong way and pretend your Batman with Bipolar)
    Panther (Kill silently without...

"This collectors edition was purchased for me as a present and i have to say for what you get its the best for your money compared to any other edition of blacklist, the Game itself is fantastic but I will let you find that out for yourselves, however if your used to convictions controls you are in for a change but it is a rather slick change now enough reviews of the game lets review the contents of this edition

    2 Star Rating mediocre
By: VincentA, on April 4, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"A mediocre stealth game clad in a mediocre shooter that looks pretty.
Instead of making a proper stealth game the developers made a hybrid where almost every move is assisted or directed by the game.
Its the equivalency of having auto-break and auto-steer in a racing game. It removes much of the point.
You don't have to move behind cover, just press the quick-time button and the game does it for you.
Some of the alternative routes are actually blocked in single-player and...

5 Star Rating flawed but still fun
By: VincentA, on April 4, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Instead of making a "proper" stealth game the developers made a stealth/action hybrid.
Annoyingly some of the alternative routes are actually blocked in single-player and are only available in multiplayer, this is just insulting.
You can see the alternative routes but apparently your character is too dumb or weak to do it by himself, even though he can climb everything else.
This directly limits your options, which is OK for an action game but not for a stealth game, which is all...

    By: M. Humphris, on January 23, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Love this game, much better controls and game play than previously - the games engine has been re-worked and tweaked. The story line is well thought out. The main HQ is an aircraft called Paladin where the Fourth Echelon are based - from here, there is an interactive map which you access to complete the missions. There is one main campaign mission which you can complete task after task, and there are also side ops which you can complete to gain cash and bonuses. Some of these are stealth with...

5 Star Rating New Mechanics, Classic Action
By: Amazon Customer, on October 4, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I've loved the Splinter Cell games since the first one on the original Xbox.

The last game (Conviction) had a great feature set but was lacking in that SC charm that the other games had. The emphasis seems to be on being a silent hunter than a sneaky agent.

That's changed in Blacklist. Big ol' terrorist threat. Sam Fisher (no longer voiced by Michael Ironside - so think of him as an alt-universe Sam Fisher...who is the head of a secret government agency, and looks and...

4 Star Rating Decent return to form
By: Chris "chrisgb", on October 3, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I decided to take a chance on this after the last two Splinter Cell titles turned out to be drivel, prised from the cold, dead hands of consolitis; for me, the series peaked and ended with Chaos Theory. Although lacking Michael Ironside's signature vocals, this is.....not that bad. There's a decent amount of gameplay on offer with Multiplayer, online Co-op, and single-player campaigns, and it's a good, modern title with some interesting spins. You have quite a lot of freedom to customise Sam...

3 Star Rating Game good but online game not so!
By: TRANCE MAN, on September 17, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I'm one of those guys who feel Splinter Cell is built for them, I've played them all! This PC version comes with 3 discs, however, you need to download the latest patch too (I think about 1.8GB) to iron out some of the bugs and glitches.

There are 3 options in how to play the game - stealth or assault or a combination of the two, however, you are sometimes forced to kill which I don't like myself, I always prefer non-lethal knockouts. You can still tag enemies like the previous game...

By: Alan, on September 8, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"as a 51 year old who likes these types of games this is excellent . its still got me tied up in solving the levels (yes I am not a 13 yr old who can complete these in hours) and I especially like it on the Wii U with the extra ability to use the gamepad in conjunction with the Main screen. Keeping me busy and and a very good escape from reality for a few hours at a time

    "so lets cover the items in the set first;

The watch, goodly designed, 4 button setting, really bright glow, the Tri-goggle design lights up excellently and depicts the green glow of the ones in game. made of rubber so its durable, also has the Tom clancy branding on the strap.

comic book, as always are a really cool read (if you like that sort of thing) wont go into detail because of spoilers.

the inner packaging is very good, and has very good graphic art with...

4 Star Rating Another great game in the series
By: CJ, on September 3, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I've been a big fan of the splinter cell series, or pretty much any tom clancy game for that matter (hawx, rainbow 6, endwar etc). this game has delivered once again - great graphics, smooth gameplay, nice variety of weapons and a gripping story-line that is also quite believable. one thing that disappointed me was the voice of sam fisher, the person you play (for the few that don't know already). Rather than the usual, gravelly and unmistakable voice of Michael Ironside, it now sounds like a...

4 Star Rating Excellent-But could be more varied.
By: Arun Prathapan, on August 30, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Before I begin, I played the game on perfectionist difficulty with a minimal HUD as I felt this made the experience feel more immersive and realistic.
The game not only encourages you to be creative but at times demands it. Hiding in shadows is far less effective and enemies are much smarter IMO, they will find flanking routes if they find you and always keep sharp. For example, you might need to distract guards, disable lights and disable an isolated all in a very short space of time,...

    5 Star Rating Awesome Version
    By: Mooj738, on August 29, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Very good game, if you like this type of game Wii U is the perfect option sometimes the framerate drops but the graphics make up for it.

The Wii U features are quality with the likes of tilting up and down , lethal and non lethal is selectable on the pad to switch weapon sets very good choice implementation.

The offline Co-Op is missing but the online Co-Op is still there, recommended to all Wii U owners as its quality!

5 Star Rating Boom! The Fish is back baby.
By: JetsG., on August 27, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Huge Splinter Cell fan, have been since the first one on the PS2. I loved Conviction and even though the play style is very similar again the improvements still stand out. The atmosphere is def improved with diverse weather, lighting affects and radio chatter (check out the London mission). New takedown animations are more realistic and I like now how Sam on a corner takedown will pull the enemy around to him so your not left there with a corpse on the big screen! Tons of new weapons and add ons...

5 Star Rating What A Game
By: Massey, on August 27, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"A very good improvement finally a game back to its roots after the awful splinter cell conviction

Your rules your way exactly how the game is meant to be played - you really get to decide what you do on all missions

yes there are a few sections in the game when it is required not to kill anyone or not to get caught but these add to the fun - whatever diffculty you are playing on

Kill or knock out your choice - kill everyone in your path in the level and face high...

5 Star Rating Best Stealth Game on PS3?
By: Mr. M. Osborne, on August 26, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

    "In short, Yes.
After months of speculation about whether or not this entry into the Splinter Cell franchise would finally give us a game up to the high standards of Pandora Tomorrow and the epic Chaos Theory, I am pleased to say that Ubisoft have finally done themselves proud here!

    STORY:
A secretive terrorist organization known as the 'Engineers' are essentially holding the United States hostage, using terror attacks and threats to blackmail the government into pulling...

4 Star Rating Splinter Cell Blacklist
By: Neil Lennon, on August 24, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"The Splinter Cell series has been going for some time now but I've found that the quality of each game varies considerably. Some games in particular seem extremely restrictive in how you go about each mission, forcing you to follow a set series of actions step by step. What sold me on Splinter Cell Blacklist is that some considerable effort has been made to allow you to play the game the way you want to play it.

As usual you play the eponymous hero Sam Fisher, an expert in covert...

4 Star Rating Excellent Continuation of the Franchise
    By: H. Walker, on August 23, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Having only received this game today - I can't yet give an in-depth review but these are my first impressions...(PS3 Version)

The graphics have improved since Conviction - looks more like a film in most parts now however I'm sure the PC version will look even better!

The gameplay mechanics seem to have stayed the same which is no bad thing! The one thing I would say is - the Loadout wheel (changing weapons and from lethal/non-lethal force etc) has been difficult for me to...
