    Cons:

"But the game itself glitches and freezes from time to time, causing to lose all your unsaved work. Considering that dungeons can be over an hour long with no save point this is no laughing matter. I understand that this is a problem with the game itself, not just my own copy.

5 Star Rating This game is a significant improvement over the original and deserves to be bought again!

    Pros:
    Cons:

"If you are a fan of Japanese role-playing games and like the atelier series, this game will most likely apeal to as it did to me and here are why:

Graphically, this game plays like the more modern atelier games espeically when travelling in different locations, town map and battles. I have and played the original which looks very outdated by today's standards.

Second, this game has a cross-save feature; that is, if you have the Vita version like I do, you can activate...

4 Star Rating Great Game with only one tiny problem
By: Darkcobra, on August 13, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"A Great game for sure. Now this was the first title in the Aterlier series for me (i know i realised after i started about Rorana but nothing i can do now but play that next) and as a whole im impressed but i feel obligated to cover the negatives first, so here is the bad thing about the game.

The one thing which ruins this game is time management, i know from reading it's common in these games but let me put it this way, you work by a clock for some of it. I played the game through...

5 Star Rating Expect dangerous levels of cuteness
By: Jarmo Remes, on September 2, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Expected cute alchemists doing cute things, got so much more.

The tutorials are quick, easy to understand and not even mandatory to do well in the game. The combat system works very good, collecting and managing materials is easy. The game is easy to learn, but contains some decently challenging boss fights for those that want a bit more.

My only complaint is the lack of a calendar for events, so seemingly random story events can screw up your time-management plans from time...

5 Star Rating Great Atelier game
By: Rpgfanmart, on June 25, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"This by far, is the best Atelier out of the 3 released in uk as of yet. The music is catchy and beautifully arranged, the graphics are pretty with very cute artwork overall. The quest and world development system is much improved over the previous games since the added markers on the world map which highlight the required items/monsters/tasks that need fulfilling, making progress much easier, rather than keep having to check a list of what needs to be done and trying to remember or locate the...

    4 Star Rating Addictive game
By: Saeval, on November 14, 2010
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Since O'Connor has already given an overview of this game, I'll just say my personal opinion about it.
I'll start saying that I'm a big JRPGs fan, even though I've never played an Atelier series game, so that's the first one for me.
I usually don't like crafting, I have more fun defeating strong monsters in order to get rare items, instead of making them by myself. Atelier Rorona changed my mind: the game is all about synthesize items, but like I wrote in the title it's very addictive...
