Fantastic purchase By: Freedom, on October 20, 2016 Pros: Cons: "I have been a fan of Borderlands since the first game release and had lots of fun with friends in a four player coop online. This includes all the DLC on disc which is a bonus. The fun continues after beating the game several times in finding the legendary weapons. The coliseum fight between friends was a lot of fun too and when you see other players tactics you can then take them and use yourself. |

Love this game! By: Joe, on October 2, 2014 Pros: Cons: "Played and finished this game originally on Xbox 360 and decided seen as I didn't bother getting the dlc to get this and replay the game. Was still as fun second time round as the first, love this game on my personal top 10 list and with all the dlc, brilliant. |

Amazing game is even better By: Frederick Barnstaple, on February 15, 2014 Pros: Cons: "Borderlands 2 players on consoles can experience a really expansive game which now comes packaged with a lot of downloadable content at a very good price. The artwork and design are eye-catching and super-saturated colours make the game look beautiful. You can find and fire almost endless permutations of generated weapons and equip gear as you level up. The skill tree has been made more flexible and there is a wide range of skills available. You can customise your character with new... |

Borderlands 2....not bad at all! By: netshopper-iom "neillywheeley", on November 13, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Game of the year edition is very good. You get loads with it and hour and hours of gaming! Love the gritty cartoon graphics-which usually are not my thing. I play cod black ops too mainly now, but this is a good change. Not as involved as something like skyrim, which is also a good alternative. This game is funny, with loads of stupid sayings in it- like "i want you to be my meat bicycle" is what some yob was screaming at me the other day before I blew him to kingdom come, and not in a George... |

Excellent value and loads of fun! By: Joey Bourne, on November 9, 2013 Pros: Cons: "If you're a fan of the Borderlands franchise, or know someone who is, I would highly recommend this product. The original game itself is great, and if you know anything about Borderlands DLC, you know the content you get with this will not disappoint. And, bearing in mind the sheer amount of extra content you get with this addition, it's definitely a worthwhile investment that'll keep you going for weeks and months. If I was to give a single criticism, it would be that this addition does not... |

All the original goodness but with more By: Avatouir "Avatouir", on November 3, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Borderlands 2 was always going to be bigger. Given the success of the Sleeper hit original. And, unsurprisingly here is the GOTY version and to say it's worth getting is to underplay the value and potential hours of fun to be had her. We go back to Pandora with 5 new characters (originally four but this set includes the necromancer which we'll go into later)again looking for 2the vault". This time around though the planet has been taken over by a sociapath called Handsome Jack, who is the... |

The game an xbox was made for By: Blue Forever "BlueForever", on December 28, 2012 Pros: Cons: "This game is just so much fun. I am more of an occasional gamer favouring the Halo / COD type games. Borderlands 2 wipes the floor with them. It is the fun element to the game which makes it so good. The other aspects of the shooter games are all there - the skill, the gameplay, but it is the imagination which sets this one apart. The sheer anarchy of the game, the very good end of task bosses - in many ways it has the feel of the old pre xbox/playstation games with big end of level... |

Improves with extended play By: Peter Piper, on April 6, 2012 Pros: Cons: "This review is primarily to confirm that the Classics version of Borderlands - Game of the Year comes with two disks. The second disk has the additional GOTY material. (See photo above.) As for the game itself, it very goodly improves with extended play. The graphics are excellent and the general game atmosphere is good, but it does require a little "grinding" to both level-up your character and open up new areas and features of the game. My first impression of the game was that the kills... |

Hope This Helps By: skeogh, on March 3, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Borderlands a first-person shooter meshed with a loot-and-level-style RPG set on a post apocalyptic alien world. The visuals are done in a kind of comic book style which makes it feel very original and its something I haven't seen before. The single player is good with great boss fights but I feel it could have had a Beyer storyline. It literally has thousands of guns (love the snipers). The multiplayer is done very well with a drop-in-drop-out system, even with players having some range in... |

A awful lot of fun in a small package! By: ExtraLarge76, on October 21, 2011 Pros: Cons: "Where to start? First of all, this game is pure gun-wielding, phase-walking, turret-blasting, bird-of-prey-flying Fun with a capital F! There is such a never-ending torrent of guns, shields, grenades, rocket launchers that it will make it hard for you to get any emotional connection with your current weapon. But that is a good thing! In other games where you use the same few guns all throughout the game, here you'll rarely spend more than an hour with one. Well, at least in the... |

Making an already great game better By: A. Dalby, on October 16, 2011 Pros: Cons: "Borderlands was one off if not THE most surprisingly good games of this generation. When it was announced and shown off there was some good buzz around it but no one expected it to be anywhere near as good as it turned out. With hundreds of thousands of guns, grenade mods, shields to collect, 4 different characters with each having to 3 separate skill trees too level through and a massive world to explore and loot, how can this game go wrong? Plus add in that you can travel through this huge... |

A huge sprawling brilliant mess of a game. By: A. Myles "Ali Boy", on February 20, 2011 Pros: Cons: "This game is a great experiment which went pretty well, it's a solid shooter with a pleasing amount of carnage to be had, the RPG element is understated and allows you create an individual character and level them up as you see fit and the graphics are a master class in how cell shading should be used. The basic game back-story is pretty standard fare: Find the treasure in the post apocalyptic wasteland. There are a lot of elements lifted straight from the Mad Max films as well as... |

Borderlands By: Borry, on February 17, 2011 Pros: Cons: "I remember seeing this game when it first came out and avoided it like the plague. I read some reviews on it but decided it definitely wasn't my kind of thing. There was too much gore, I didn't like the cell shaded like graphics the game had and just about everything I read about it put me off. Fast forward a year or so later and I decided after hearing so many good things about the game off friends, I had to give it a go. I'm glad I did now as not only did I enjoy it but it's become... |
