4 Star Rating A lot better than the other reviewers say.
    By: A. M. C. 2014, on January 12, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I wanted Painkiller on Xbox but it was announced but never released on the original xbox. So when I heard it was coming to 360 I was like I would get it when it was cheap. Last week it was £7:45 and it is worth it.

What you get is an old school shooters where they throw enemies at you like there is no tomorrow. This is a retro fps but I get really tired of the call of duty lead you everywhere game play. This game does not lead you anywhere you need to make up your own mind on...

3 Star Rating Uncut? is that supposed to be a joke?
    By: Terry 309, on November 19, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Upon seeing this game, you already know it is one of those under the radar games that nobody knows about or plays, this of course had me intrigued as i am a fan of dark gothic settings and i hadn't played an old school shooter before so i thought it was worth a try, these are my results.

The game markets itself as a trigger happy bouncy old school fps with a metal soundtrack which transitions during battle. Painkiller is essentially a no brainer shoot everything type game, think...

4 Star Rating Simple, bloody fun!
By: Mark Andrew, on July 1, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Simplicity can be refreshing: Painkiller proves this with it's old-skool take on the FPS. Tons of enemies, great weapons and a simple, yet plausible narrative that see's the player tasked with fighting his way through Hell itself.

If you like Doom and Serious Sam then Painkiller should be an automatic purchase. It's a charming title that relies on trigger clenching, putting more complex strategy aside in favor of the biggest gun wins. Yep, that's right. Grab that all powerful...

5 Star Rating Not for the average gamer
    By: Mr. M., on December 2, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Being a puzzle game in itself, and with a japanese touch, there's a chance only a few people like this title,
but those love every bit of it.

This title is a visual novel game with an erotic/horror setting around it,
where you're going to play the box pulling puzzle game most of the time.

These are a bit challenging, but easy to learn at first, and outright seemingly impossible on the later levels. So those who look for challenging leves to solve will be...

    5 Star Rating Jaw-droppingly non-PC guilty pleasure!!!
By: J. Scott "JS", on August 30, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I rented this from Lovefilm, because I wanted to try it but thought it sounded utterly naff.

I played through it once , then immediately went on-line and purchased a copy of my own. I've NEVER rented a game and then bought it before.

I mean, come on, what's not to like: hordes of zombies, utterly bizarre end-of-level badies; fun and challenging mini-games (in one case almost TOO challenging); and hilariously unexpected one-liners that you definitely won't want to play...

    5 Star Rating Simple Fun
    By: M. MCCARTNEY, on June 22, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"This is a solid game start to finish. The story isn't made out to be overly serious, something which many modern games are missing! The humor contains many pop-culture references (Amazon wishlist is even mentioned in the game!), it is one of the few comedy games out at the minute.
What I loved most about this game is the soundtrack, classic tunes such as 'You Spin Me Right Round' are heard. All the music accompanies hilarious action sequences and is very fitting.

    If your a fan...

    4 Star Rating Unseen before
By: Gareth Wilson - Falcata Times Blog "Falcata T..., on February 14, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"This release from Deep Silver is one of those games that you're either going to love to death (literally) or absolutely hate with a passion as it takes you from compelling mangaesque animation through to fiendish nightmare block pushing to find out more about the tales principle "hero" Vincent.

It's cleverly done and the overall arc is one of those ones that is only for the older gamer as to be honest it deals with a lot of adult themes which include and not restricted to, cheating...

    5 Star Rating Sheeptastical!
By: Birdman, on February 12, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I bought this game on import a few months ago and played it solidly until completion, which is pretty unusual for me nowadays, being an older gamer with other commitments. I simply don't have time to waste on playing sub par games. I can happily say that this game is far from being sub par. As soon as I started the adventure it pulled me in to it's sureal world. At least, half of the game is a surreal nightmare and the other being the main character Vincent's waking life and the moral dilemmas...

5 Star Rating Two of the greatest games ever made.
By: Bertie Buggerington, on September 30, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"This isn't the first time I've played these games, in fact I've played them both several times before, but this is the first time I've been able to play them in stunning high definition and with a frame rate that both games deserve, which is a steady and constant 30 FPS. That doesn't sound great by today's standards, but it is a vast improvement on the originals. Anyone who has played these games in the past, particularly Shadow of the Colossus, will tell you of the frame rate issues that...

4 Star Rating Great - dark, twisted and shocking, but great!
By: AnimaSola, on June 19, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"First off, PLEASE don't buy this for younger children: Despite the fact its Alice in Wonderland - it most certainly is NOT a kids game and it has a 15 certificate for a very good reason - the content is not only very adult (f-bomb/ c-bomb grade bad language and the obvious violence), but it is extremely disturbing too (going into it too much here would ruin the "twist", but suffice to say, the general play is dark, disconcerting and chilling, and the climax of the plot genuinely horrible)...

5 Star Rating Bullet Hell finally comes to PAL
By: maccydee, on February 20, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I've been obsessed with Death Smiles since I first played it in a Japanese arcade almost two years ago. Since then, I've been patiently awaiting a release that didn't involve me having to import an entire new console to play it. I made do with the two region free Cave 360 shooters and the recent Guwange XBLA release. But they weren't Death Smiles, and the fact that the US got it last summer while the Japanese are enjoying a HD port of the second Death Smiles was a bitter pill to swallow...
