5 Star Rating A love/hate relationship, ending with lots more love than hate.
By: tpseesall "peckgti", on October 29, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I have had a bit of a love/hate relationship with this game. I am pretty close to the end of the standard game and now I am happy to say I love it. It might be one of my all time favorite games and that's saying something, beats the pants off skyrim and comes very close to my World of Warcraft days. Although I couldn't have given it any less than the 5-star game it has proven itself to be, I do have a couple of major gripes with it which Id like to have marked it down for but just couldn't...

4 Star Rating Murdered: Soul Suspect - Enjoyable game
By: A Craig "Astronamy", on June 14, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I just completed Murdered: Soul Suspect and it was good I enjoyed it, not a lot of action other then destroying demons, but helping other ghosts move on by finding why they died, the main quest as well as finding lots and lots of clues, possessing and influencing people. There are no level settings but I found it not too difficult and not too tricky destroying demons with the right combos.

Only bad points you can't save between levels you have to complete quests and get to the...

2 Star Rating Great story - bland game
By: Amazon Customer, on June 10, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"The story to this game is brilliant and a very fresh idea: As suggested by the game title and tag-line, you're a recently murdered cop trying to solve your own murder.

The deeper story is that a serial killer is stalking Salem - and you are their latest (though accidental) victim, brutally moidered in the course of hunting them down.
Along the main plot are a stack of side-stories; predominantly ghostly encounters of the recently and not so recently deceased, who's own deaths...

5 Star Rating Prepare to learn and enjoy.
    By: Pricey007, on March 16, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"And so Dark Souls 2 has finally arrived but does it fulfil the hype? Thankfully it does - it just depends on how much effort you're willing to put in :-) Although there have been refinements (a slightly more manageable intro for beginners) it still feels like a 'Souls' game and that's the main thing. And what a game!

Ignore the criticisms about the graphics - they're fine and quite pretty in places. The real reason to play a Dark Souls game is the gameplay and feeling of satisfaction...

By: Gina, on May 24, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I've only played a few hours of this game and all the review reading, video watching and deliberating hasn't proven me wrong. Dark Souls, I believe, is a brilliant game. However don't expect any coddling or anything like that, the brutality of this game will be like a punch in the face for you. As soon I entered the game I could feel a chill running down my spine and my tension levels shooting upwards, that's the sort of game it is. Danger lurking around the corner, surprise attacks killing you...

5 Star Rating Be careful if you already own the "standard" edition!
By: The Admiral, on October 28, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"If you already own the game and just intend to get the extra area/level, you might want to download the DLC from the PSN store. If you think you'd rather own the whole thing on disc and are considering getting this edition to replace your standard one, just know that your saves will very probably not be compatible. In other words, if you levelled up a character to, say, Level 100 - you won't be able to use that progress or that character. You'll have to start from scratch again. There seems...

4 Star Rating The legend will never die
By: Olliezero "Olliezero", on February 18, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I must start by explaining how much I love Soulcalibur. So when I heard they were working on Soulcalibur V (Actually the eighth game) I got so hyped. Reading every bit of news. I recieved my copy on the release date and got playing.

So the first thing to comment on would be the game modes. I straight away went onto the story which was ultimately dissapointing. The characters are boring and the story is ridiculous. But the worst thing about it is it's length. It took me two hours to...

5 Star Rating A game with true soul
    By: D. Jones, on December 5, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I was quite apprehensive buying this game as people seem to either love it or ABSOLUTELY loathe it. So, after being swayed by the 'love it' reviews I eagerly put the disc in my machine and set off to enjoy a dragon slaying romp.

Fifteen minutes later and I was loathing it with every fibre of my being! No guide, no instructions, no map, just dropped slap bang in to the middle of an insanely difficult game, with no idea what to do, and no explanation of anything! I was all set to...

5 Star Rating 10 Reasons to buy this AMAZING title...
By: Robbo, on October 12, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"If you're looking for a button smashing hack and slash fest (and there's nothing wrong with that!) - then stop reading now. HOWEVER... if you fancy something more varied and challenging, then YOU MUST add this game to your basket. There are loads of reviews for this game already - so I won't add to the already extensive press attention that this title has deservedly attracted. I will though add a few opinions to the mix - because some of what you've heard might (unjustly) put you off...

    5 Star Rating Tough Love
By: Mr. T. Abbott "tristan", on October 8, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I've just spent the best part of a day playing a very small section of Dark Souls in that time I've dead nearly 10 times, lost 1000's of souls(the in-game currency) and nearly given up the desire to keep playing. So why do I love this game so much?
The answer lies in the feeling of euphoria after defeating a boss or in making a little bit more progress. Make no mistake this is one unforgiving game: make a mistake, the game punishes you; get too complacent around any enemy, the game...
