Back Into The Wasteland!! By: MR C.Robinson, on January 2, 2014 Pros: Cons: "Having been a huge fan of fallout 3 and having purchased new Vegas and all the dlc's separately, and with no new fallout game on the horizon I decided to take the plunge and go back into the world of fallout new Vegas. First of all let me talk about the game itself, you get all of the four regular DLC's which where Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues & Lonesome road I'd say the DLC's alone add around 20 hours worth of game time and within a campaign that could last 100+ hours you have... |

Welcome to the Mojave By: Griesmayer, on July 13, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Fallout New Vegas is the 2010 RPG released by Bethesda Softworks and Obsidian Entertainment. You take the role of a character known as The Courier, who is hired by a delivery service to take an unknown package across the Mojave Desert to the Las Vegas Strip but is intercepted near the town of Goodsprings, shot in the head, and left for dead by a mysterious group of men who steal the package, whose content happens to be an oversized casino chip. After being found by a friendly local robot,... |

If you are having problems installing on steam read this. By: Jonny515, on June 13, 2013 Pros: Cons: "This is not a games review but an aid to anyone having problems installing the game on steam. The glitch seems to happen when you own the original game and then try to install the Legendary version. Every time I tried to load the disk it would only load the standard game not the downloadable content. You will know that there is a problem because it wont ask for your activation code. I spoke to Bethesda the game manufacturer and they have received a lot of calls about it... |

What a game!!!!!! By: Karl Kirkby, on May 31, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Having played Fallout 3 and loved it I purchased New Vegas and am pleased to say that it is a worthy "sequel". The game itself works without having played fallout 3 though. Basically if you have played any of the series then you will not need my review but if you have never played any of them then I'm saying BUY THIS GAME NOW!!!!!! even if you pay £40 (which you won't) it is still amazing value, just apologise in advance to all your friends who will miss you for the next 3 months! Word of... |

An underwhelming performance By: The Last Light User, on April 25, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Fallout New Vegas is a game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is an RPG based in a post apocalyptic-world in and around the area of Las Vegas Nevada. You play as a `courier' who after being shot in the head in the opening cinematic by an assailant in a chequered suit and buried alive - awaken to the town of Goodsprings. It is here that you must discover where your assailant went and what he has done with the mysterious platinum chip which you were... |

PLEASE READ. Starting afresh. By: Hutchi, on July 12, 2012 Pros: Cons: "Installation guide. [For those like me, who bought this game despite owning the original, in order to start afresh with the DLC] Make sure you insert the 2nd disc first (DLC content). This will load onto your harddrive and then from that point on, just use the normal play disc (disc 1). I was 2 hours into playing the disc 1 until I realised my mistake. This is FYI just in case you are wanting to begin your New Vegas adventures anew, starting off with things such as the 'sturdy... |

A great, great game... By: M. Sowden, on July 5, 2012 Pros: Cons: "I bought this even though I had the original version as its cheaper than buying all the add-ons. Read the advice at the bottom if you want to avoid/minimise the lagging and loading time issues. I have played both this and Fallout 3 for about 100 hours each and I have to say this is better. The main quest is shorter but there's a lot more side quests and the weapon modding feature really adds some depth. Overall a fantastic game. Right now for the advice (I found this on a forum after tearing my... |

Awesome By: Metters, on October 21, 2011 Pros: Cons: "This is completely different form Fallout 3 and New Vegas; however the past Fallout games are unique and fun in their way. This disc has Fallout 1, 2 and Tactics which make this a good buy. There is a problem with this game on Windows 7 and May require you to have the Screen Resolution up and download a High Res. Patch in order to play Fallout 1 and 2. I still would know how to get Tactics working due it wanting the actual game instead of this disc. This game however will... |

my first ever 5 star game By: Robin G. Symons, on August 7, 2011 Pros: Cons: "A review of the most tremendous single player .....ever..... Ive gamed since the days of the spectrum, commodore 64 and origional atari.Im 32 and ive seen more games than alot of people and i know what i like. fallout 3 was a game i felt was not for me.I was one of those people that just couldnt get into oblivion so i left fallout 3 thinking adding guns just wouldnt do it for me.I recently borrowed F3 again and hated the slow start and the poor graphics and dull gameplay so i left it for... |

Fallout New Vegas 6 Month review By: Simon Donald "thugernomics666", on August 2, 2011 Pros: Cons: "I have owned this game for 6 months now which gives me a good idea of all the in's and out's of the game. New Vegas has taken the good parts out of Fallout 3 and tweaked them in a new world to make New Vegas. The main story of New Vegas is engaging and over time encourages you to search each part of the map, visiting different groups and organisations (a big new theme in the game). The map itself is quite large and has a good mix of terrain, towns, people and objects of interest... |

Excellent after the patch is downloaded By: Carlos, on April 28, 2011 Pros: Cons: "I read a lot of negative comments and I expected a terrible game, but as a hardcore fallout fan I still bought it in March 2011. After downloading the patch I did not experience any problems for a long time. After more than 50 hours of gameplay I can say it is occasionally freezing, but not much more than Fallout 3 did, still it's good if you save often, just to be on the safe side (before your big decisions/multiple choices too). The game itself is fantastic and after playing so much I'm still... |

Many choices to make... By: Gemma, on March 27, 2011 Pros: Cons: "The post apocalyptic and desolate world of Fallout is back, and whilst not a direct sequel of Fallout 3, it is set in the same world and uses the same game engine. New Vegas is set in the year 2281, which is 4 years after the events of Fallout 3 and has certain aspects to the game linking up goodly to previous events. In New Vegas you are playing a courier, who has quite literally, been pulled from the grave. The opening cut scene to the game shows a mysterious man seemingly shooting you point... |

Your life will end By: Wilson SP, on February 25, 2011 Pros: Cons: "To put it simply, as the title suggests, when you buy this game you will no longer have a life. From the very moment you load this game, you will be completly absorbed into the world around you. The game is set within the post apocalyptic ruins of Washington DC and its immediate surrounding area. Travel through the world and you can find iconic locations such as the Lincoln memorial, natural history museum and you can even find a heavily irradiated piece of the white house... |

60 hours in so far - brilliant but technically flawed By: geordie_michael, on February 25, 2011 Pros: Cons: "Fallout New Vegas is a brillaint RPG. You have the freedom to roam over the Mojave wasteland and play the game how best suits you (sneak, hack, talk or laser your way through). If you want to "blaze" through and pick up the trophies/achievements, try the more stable Fallout 3: Game of the Year edition (I platinumed that on the PS3 in 80 hours, most of the quests result in a trophy - New Vegas trophies are structured in a way to encourage you to roam, not just trophy hunt). However, if you're... |

The bugs and glitches make you fallout with Fallout By: A. J. Parkes "sekrapa", on December 2, 2010 Pros: Cons: "I loved Fallout 3. It was a very good game that had you immersed in the world you view and the quests were good, graphics great. When F:NV came out, I got it to continue the similar story. If you are familiar with Fallout 3, then you will instantly feel at home with this game. You have your Pip Boy where you see all the locations you have been to, quests, weapons, aid, health etc. You can still repair weapons, mod them etc. The main plus points: You can have 2... |

know when to walk away, know when to run By: Tetrominoe L (PSN hoopla10, Steam: colt_ture), on October 30, 2010 Pros: Cons: "Having loved previous Fall-Out titles I was eager to get my hands on this. Like many previous reviewers have stated it is buggy, and while it should be unacceptable for a new release, it's not all that bad. People have also said that it's like one big DLC but I have to disagree. Sure it has much in common with Fall-Out 3 but it is still in the Fall-Out world so there's bound to be many similarities. However there are plenty of differences, like modding weapons, reputation, the use of... |

Immense Value for Money By: A. GILL "ag55", on October 16, 2009 Pros: Cons: "Firstly, the standard game alone will provide hours of entertainment. It's one of my all time favourite games and will probably be yours too once you get into it. To sum it up Fallout 3 is set 2277, in a post apocalyptic wasteland (US and China went to war) where mankind is struggling to survive. You have lived in a vault all your life, and its been closed for 200 years. But your dad opens the vault and mysteriously disappears -- this is when you go out into the wasteland in search for him. The... |

Well worth it!! By: Reece Wilson, on October 5, 2009 Pros: Cons: "Fallout 3 is one of the most amazing games I have ever played. The leveling up system is perfect allowing you to raise stats in different ways to create different style of character every time you play (or at least so far, Im on my 4th character)the perks in the game allow for some pretty interesting power ups, the original game had me playing for a solid 3 weeks of any spare time playing the game and Im looking forward to buying this as I've not actually got the dlc and I also don't own the... |

Apocalyptic Fun By: FantasyMeister "FM", on November 12, 2008 Pros: Cons: "I'm now on my second playthrough of Bethesda's marvelous Fallout 3. The first go took around 40 hours to complete the storyline, and it was at this point that I looked at the huge map of the post-apocalyptic wasteland that my adventures had taken me through and realised that I'd barely scratched the surface of things to see and do. So I loaded in my most recent auto-save and went exploring again, and having just finished a mammoth 5 hour session exploring just one building (and getting... |
