"I decided to write this quick review just to say that this Mass Effect Trilogy Box-set is the NTSC version (American region). I was apprehensive that this version is not compatible with my PAL xbox 360 console, but after inserted first disk into the tray, everything worked fine. I also checked Mass Effect 2 and 3 - the same result: All games work correct on xbox 360 (PAL, European version). I hope, this information can be helpful for many customers. Enjoy!

By: Jeeves, on July 12, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Sublime. Mass Effect 3 is the culmination of what has become not only one of the most perfectly realised examples of gaming to date, but one of the most sophisticated sci-fi narratives in any medium.
Whilst the first Mass Effect was often a bit of a chore, behind the repetetive Mako missions and overly expositionary dialogue, the potential for the series shone through thanks to it's strong characterisation and complex multi-threaded story.
With number two, the creative team did an...

5 Star Rating Mass Effect 2 in my opinion is the best title that Xbox 360 has put out
By: Christopher J. Cowen, on June 8, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Mass Effect 2 is an amazing role playing game (RPG) and in my opinion its the best title that Xbox 360 has put out. This game has a great storyline and you will find yourself playing it over and over again to see the different outcomes. The game has great downloadable add-on content that only adds to the story. The exploration aspects of the game is great as well. I can't say enough good things about this game. If you like Science Fiction, Shooters, and or RPG's this game is for you, it has it...

    Pros:
    Cons:

"There has been plenty of controversy regarding this games ending, however i found it to be a fitting conclusion to the series. Again the gameplay and graphics have been refined and the script is as good as ever, add that to a multiplayer mode which lets you play as different species and you have a winner. This is one of the best game series of our generation and i would urge people to try it out- start from the beginning as it is interesting to see how choices you made in the first and second...

5 Star Rating Mass Effect Trilogy (PC)
By: Amazon Customer, on May 22, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Bought this as I moved from console gaming to PC gaming and Mass Effect is one of my favourite franchise.
I have Windows 8 and had no problems installing the 3 games. I had to have Origin but I didn't mind having another game client as I'm use to them from having GFWL and Steam.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 plays fine, cant say for ME3 as I haven't got round to playing that one yet.

    PC Specs At The Time:
    Windows 8 64-Bit
    4GB DDR3 Ram
    AMD Phenom II x4 965...

    Pros:
    Cons:

"I love Mass Effect. It's sci-fi heaven with heaps of action, a deep plot and awesome cinemagrophy. However, as an overall product Mass Effect 3 has so far caused me more frustration and bitter disappointment than it has joy.

I'm totally mystified by Origins logic when they put this package together. I'll try to brief here. I'm leaving for work overseas the next day, so I go out and treat myself to Mass Effect 3 so I have something to play whilst away. It's the evening before my...

    5 Star Rating Loved it
By: Kenny, on December 25, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I really enjoy this game. I first finished it on the Xbox, but when I switched to ps3 (for the blu-ray player and I didn't want 2 consoles in the house), I bought this so I can play it again. I liked it mainly for the storyline. I found the action reasonably enjoyable when playing as a mage or rogue, but I found the fighter to be a bit dull (just pick your target and instruct to attack, with the occasional special move).

I found the stand alone expansion stories to be just okay -...

"installs and runs fine. Running windows 7 pro 64 bit on an I7 2600K with 8GB ram. The graphics in this game are awesome. Just like watching a CGI film. lots of twists and turns during game play. It's one of those games where you could play it over and over again, and each time it would play out diffrently based on your in game choices. How you react to the others characters and what you decide to do or don't do. Want something to get the brain cells working abit with the odd bit of mindless...

    Cons:

"one day delivery took only 16 hours to be delivered!
So far the game has not disappointed, played the prequel so had to get this. Somehow the systems requirements are very similar to the prequel yet the graphics are very goodly improved! My i3 laptop with barely midrange ati radeon 5470 graphics card plays this game well with graphics settings maxed out at the 720 resolution. There is probably a slight frame rate drop but nothing annoying.
However the game should come with a cerberus...

5 Star Rating The Best Series of this Console Generation
By: Adam McGee, on January 21, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Mass Effect on PS3...I never thought we'd see the day, but here we are. While I still dream that the first ME game would cross over to Sony's platform, the arrival of ME2 and the news ME3 will be on PS3 too makes up for it (as does a PS3 exclusive interactive short comic that helps you not only get to speed on the back story of the first game, but lets you make decisions to help shape your ME2 experience). You see, the beauty of ME is that your game plays out uniquely to you - if a character...

5 Star Rating The best ever X-box game?

    Cons:

"I've been a gamer for nearly 30 years, and during that time you remember fondly games that have moved you, enthralled you, and been just plain hard to put down and go to sleep. I won't list them all of course, but of recent games I would say you are talking games like the orginal Halo, World of Warcraft, and Modern Warfare 2 have been the types of games that fit the mold. Well Mass Effect 2 is for me another to add to that list of exceptional games, and I'll try and explain the reasons why here...

5 Star Rating A near perfect game
By: Owain, on March 29, 2010
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Having played Dragon Age earlier this year, I had heavy doubts that anything over the next year or even the next five to ten years could top it. Then comes along Mass Effect 2, the sequel to Bioware's epic Sci Fi RPG, which literally blew me away. Right from the shocking start, you know you're going in for an unforgettable ride.

The first thing that strikes you while you play Mass Effect 2 is how smooth the game plays. They've vastly improved the combat system from the first game,...

    5 Star Rating Simply Amazing
    By: Gitty101, on August 27, 2009
    Pros:
    Cons:

"As a new 360 owner at the beggining of this year my games library was very limited. After browsing this game caught my attention and after seeing the low price, I decided to pick up the game not fully aware of what to expect.

My initial impressions were bad. The enviroment of the starting level was bland and the RPG elements were limited (at first). The game does not have a full tutorial and it took a while to grasp the controls (though you can avoid this by reading the manual)...

5 Star Rating The best RPG I have ever played!
    By: J. Hotchkiss, on June 28, 2009
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I'm not going to touch on the SecuROM issues. That's been well covered by other posters - if you can get it without SecuROM (e.g. through Steam), do so. However you get it (legally), get this game.

The first in an expected trilogy of games from Bioware, Mass Effect is nothing short of exceptional. It is probably the first RPG I've played where I immediately wanted to create a new character just to see how my choices in the first playthrough might have gone differently. This game is...
