It only kept me going for two nights though so not that long, but im temted to play again to mop up the trophies I missed. It... |

HIDDEN IN ITS OWN EVENT HORIZON By: NeuroSplicer, on December 10, 2011 Pros: Cons: "For some reason I never picked up this game when it first came out. So when I found it on sale I was tempted. And, as Oscar Wilde has cynically observed, the only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it. So I allowed myself get pulled into the gravity well. THE FABRIC OF THE SPACE-TIME CONTINUUM IS BEAUTIFUL SINGULARITY runs on the Unreal3 engine and this means that water effects will make you reach for a towel whereas flames will remind you you are playing a game... |

singular or plural? By: Jeff Franklin, on May 23, 2011 Pros: Cons: "To be honest I didn't know too much about this game when I picked it up other than it was a FPS and it had received some OK reviews. It was one of those purchases that was going to prove to be a bargain or a waste of money that could have been spent on a bargain bucket meal at whatever fast food establishment of your choosing. After playing this game to completion I can say that I'm edging towards it being a bargain but only just! That's not to say it's a bad game as it ticks all the... |

Fab original game By: Ashley, on August 8, 2010 Pros: Cons: "This game has a great storyline to it, the game makes you feel like you are in control & makes you feel that you can change the story/outcome..... I wish Activision went full out with the marketing on this game, because it is a awesome game if you like plot twists and time hoping. The only niggles I have is the texture streaming issues at one point in the game but that was just a small hiccup (its running on the unreal engine), the scond is that there isn't any chapter reply menu so if you... |

A little bit of Bioshock and Half-Life can go a long way! By: Mr. Luke Harrington, on July 30, 2010 Pros: Cons: "Singularity is without a doubt, to my mind, one of the most underrated games released this year. It's seemingly derivative nature, combined with a glut of recent top-tier shooters has seen it slip under the radar of many gamers. I, however, would encourage anyone who likes sci-fi, and FPS' in general to check this one out. You'll be pleasantly surprised. Singularity starts with a bang. And a slight sense of Deja-vu. The island of Kartorga 12, an abandoned research complex where... |

A fun game, but could have been so much more By: L. J. Bennett, on July 7, 2010 Pros: Cons: "I'll start by saying: I highly recommend this game, it's fun and at least tries a bit of innovation. That said, I did find it a bit short, even on the highest difficulty. The game is developed on the Unreal Engine, and looks fantastic. The game flows brilliantly with only a few loading screens throughout the entire game. The levels are well designed, and even if you do get lost a simple button will show you footsteps leading you in the correct direction. The enemies look good, even... |

Singularity Quick Review By: J. T. Passmore, on July 2, 2010 Pros: Cons: "Singularity is a fun FPS and While not perfect it delivers the goods with atmosphere and solid controls. Theres a little bit of other FPS games mixed into it (which is good) so youll notice a tiny bit of Bioshock while playing the game when you come across the upgrade booths and collecting E99 instead of adam. The game is very linear but that doesn't effect the enjoyment. The story is interesting especially the time travel focused bits plus there are audio logs and notes hidden around that add... |

Deeply unfashionable, hugely enjoyable By: Mr. A. P. Venables "andi02", on February 6, 2010 Pros: Cons: "Wolfenstein is a glorious B-movie of a game, an utter success within the framework of its narrow ambition. As agent Blazkowicz you are sent into enemy territory to stop various Nazi occult science projects from being developed into new weapons. Wolfenstein seems to have an allergic reaction to sophistication. There are RPG and exploration elements in it but they've been done better practically everywhere else. No subtlety or nuance can be found in the story or characters and even... |
