Quick and fresh take on DmC series. By: JamiroFUNKai, on July 23, 2016 Pros: Cons: "This game had some really awful reviews, so much so that i didnt buy the game straight away. What a mistake, ive played the original series and was apprehensive this was going in the wrong direction but nope! Easy to grasp controls, Goodly rendered graphics (Some question textures here and there) and a quirky-fun storyline. Would highly recommend for the £10-20 mark. |

Devil May Cry Fantastic Reboot Full Of Action And Swordplay All The Way A++++++++++++++++ By: Mr. Da Grubb, on May 24, 2015 Pros: Cons: "WELL Having played Devil May Cry Before I can say that the improvements are massive, it runs a consistent 60 frames and I experienced zero slow down which impressed me unlike assassins creed unity which ran at 30 frames when it didn't experience crashes if you were lucky, and it also includes a bulk of content including Vergil's downfall which is a nice change of action and he wields a samurai sword called the Yamato which is a nice change from Dante's gunning slash style, (Rebellion for Dante... |

A couple of tweaks to make it feel different for returning veterans. sharper visuals, smooth gameplay, and other enhancements By: TL:DR Reviews, on March 19, 2015 Pros: Cons: "Devil May Cry brand new tears -- DmC reinvents Capcom's classic action franchise to explore new frontiers with the series. The "Devil May Cry DNA" of stylish action, rewarding combat and a brash, smart-talking protagonist all remains; however, it has now injected with a dark and brutal gameplay that promises to redefine the franchise. DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition brings the same great game to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, along with a couple of tweaks to make it feel... |

Excellent game - ignore the pretentious haters. By: L. Hutson, on March 13, 2015 Pros: Cons: "Awesome. "Purists" will tell you the combat system is dumbed down, broken, or plain too easy. I think some people are pretentious a *holes. This game has a unique sense of humour, very intelligent level design, and a very unique concept that shows ninja theory were unafraid to take a risk, yet they have still made the combat very consistent with the rest of the series. If anything its less obtuse, but still with enough variety to keep you chasing those SSS ranks... |

Sadistic! Savage! By: James Hadoken, on March 11, 2015 Pros: Cons: "I'm not gonna go into the "older dmc series is better" argument. I agree that the ps2 era games are the golden age of devil may cry, but despite all the fanboy hate, this game does not suck! Yes it is a re-release of the Ps3/xb360 versions (it's Capcom, what did you expect?), but this is the best edition to buy (xbox one or ps4). It's faster, looks nicer, runs at 60fps which makes all the difference, and more importantly, it's a decent game. It's up to you what you do, weather to get... |

A reboot of the old By: Scarletbeyond "Scarlet", on March 10, 2015 Pros: Cons: "*UPDATED *Okay so I have finished the main campaign with Dante and the DLC story set after the main game with Vergil. I played the entire game with Turbo mode turned on and only on normal difficulty so far. So if you read my original review, I never played the original release as I didn't agree with the reboot and I was very open minded about trying this game out this time around. What do I think? It's worth a chance. Is it Devil May Cry? For me, no... |
