The Derby County of management games By: Mr. A. N. Milne "mz412fan", on May 23, 2010 Pros: Cons: "Many, many years ago Championship Manager was king. It was the football anoracks dream game that let you, if you wanted, to take the worst ever team in any of the British Leagues and make them European Cup champions. When the game was on the PC I took Aberdeen to massive glories season after season. It was THE only game to play on computer. But then something changed. A fall out of epic proportions that split the whole Championship Manager team and made two different games from the ashes after... |

Excellent!! By: Jon, on February 15, 2008 Pros: Cons: "Championship Manager 2007 is an excellent game. The buzz you get from scoring a goal is electric, and there is nothing more satisfying than buying someone in the transfer market and them putting in excellent performances for you. I also like the subbeuteo style pitch that you play on. Any criticisms. There is one - I have experienced it a few times where the play gets stuck at throw in's, as the ball keeps on coming back off the opposition player for yet ANOTHER throw-in. Apart from that, its a... |

brilliant game- totally frustrating By: Andy, on September 1, 2007 Pros: Cons: "The game itself is totally addictive- excellent in everyway (except for some jumping graphics in the 3D sequences but our computer needs upgrading anyway) but- and it's a huge but- it won't let you continue with successful teams you have built (it's happened to me twice- once for a team that won the Cup and came 5th and next for a team that won every league game of the season and was looking forward to promotion). So all that time and energy becomes totally wasted and you have to start again-... |

New and brilliant By: Bobbo "Bobbo", on March 23, 2007 Pros: Cons: "Mind you i've only bought this game 4 hours ago but i've been playing it non-stop since then. As the previous review stated, the menus have changed and the match games and loading times are quite a bit slower but the main reason for that seems because there's just so much more of the game than previous versions. You now have oppertunities to hire new assistant managers and coaches, and there are ways of becoming involved on an international level too. The game... |

Best manager game... ever! By: Kruppa, on October 25, 2006 Pros: Cons: "I only own the demo but, after playing my friends version for twelve straight hours at a sleepover, I have to say it is the best manager game ever. This is because of the attention to detail, the accuracy and the levels of fun acheived while playing. Some people would find the circles on screen rather than real people, shown by graphics, annoying and silly, but this is not the case. It allows the game to flow smoothly, and leaves some of the action to your imagination. The team-talks are very... |
