    Cons:

"When Rogue was announced a lot of people said it was going to be a glorified DLC to Black Flag. They were wrong. While, yes, they did borrow a lot from Black Flag, the combat and naval combat being lifted straight from it, it is a good game in its own right. It should be noted that the modern day segments heavily reference the AC: Initiates game.

The story follows former Assassin Shay Cormac as he defects to the Templar Order after a mission causes him to create the 1755 Lisbon...

By: killercroc, on November 16, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Generically Rogue is a copy of Black Flag I won't deny it. The game play is majorly the same with minor tweaks here and there. Almost all side activities are the same also. The story itself however is a much needed link as it bridges the way from Black Flag to Rogue to Unity to AC3 - all in one game. Characters who seemed unimportant in the previous games have a new light shed upon them giving them purpose and the ability to strike chords within the gamer and it also opens the path for the...

    Pros:
    Cons:

"The game itself is one of the best ever being on the historical point of view or simple the gameply itself.

Altough the first game has a tendency to get boring at a certain point due to long horse rides the story has what it needs to keep you playing till the end.
The second game on the other hand i think was flawless at the time it came out.
Excelent storyline all the way, very good amount of sidequests all make the game long and makes you enjoy playing it till the end...

5 Star Rating Excellent game from Ubisoft once again!
By: DTW, on November 4, 2013
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I am a huge fan of the Assassins Creed franchise and have purchased all of their games, completing each one in their entirety. Black Flag has certainly added to the franchise with a much larger map and the alternative plain of the Caribbean seas for your assassin to master. The changing climate and varying size/ability of foes on the sea creates a more enjoyable arena than the frontier of Assassins Creed 3.

The storey line has the usual twist and turns to capture audiences, but I...

"I have all the consoles, so choosing which version to buy, gave me a hard time. Fortunately, the PS3 version would include 60minutes of exclusive gameplay. So I ordered the PS3 version.

When I got the game and opened it, I tried to enter the code, but got an invalid message. I read through the manuals and saw that the code did only last until March 31st. I was not informed by this in any way.

I mean amazon should have informed me of this before my purchase.

4 Star Rating Give it time
    By: J. Smith, on December 30, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Having previously played and loved the other games in the series, I looked forward to this as a shift from the norm but still keeping what made the others great...and it does this...eventually.

The main issue this game has is the horribly long hand holding tutorials. For anyone who's played the series before, having to play for almost 5 hours before they take off the stabilisers is incredibly tedious and I very nearly gave up as I was quite bored.

    However once it lets go,...

    Pros:
    Cons:

"I havent played this for a while, and when I did play it, I only borrowed the games. So I decided to grab this bargain and I am so glad that I did. People moan about repetitiveness and it being boring, but people dont seem to understand that when these games came out, they were great, something different, new and most of all the story line.

Grab this bargain and enjoy playing the game from the start again! Because thats exactly what I am doing.

5 Star Rating Even better than expected.
By: Blue Raven "Dan", on November 2, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Assassin's Creed Liberation is great, classic AC gameplay with stunning graphics in the palm of your hand. The heroine makes for a very different character from the likeable-but-cocky male assassins we've met so far - I won't go into too much of Aveline's background, but she gives us the opportunity to see a fresh take on 18th Century New Orleans through multiple guises (equipped as an Assassin, or in disguise either as a lady or a slave). Each disguise/persona can use different equipment, has...

5 Star Rating Assassins Creed II (spoiler free)
By: Druyii, on December 4, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"After the amazing intro to the franchise with Altair, I knew that I was going to want to play the next game in line. Activision had a lot to live up to with the interactivity with the world, (mostly) realistic game physics and movement and outstanding graphics and locations. As well as this, Creed had been slated repeatedly for the fact that the fights and the missions were just too similar so that by the time you were drawing to the last mission, you just didn't want to go through it all...

5 Star Rating Satisfying Conclusion for Ezio and Altair
By: Bronn "Sellsword", on December 2, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"First off, the draconian DRM Ubisoft employed in previous games has gone. All that is left
is a one-time online activation for the game which is very reasonable, and what numerous other
titles also employ. If your connection cuts out during gameplay you won't get kicked out of the
game, you just carry on how you should. You can also enable offline mode from within the Ubi
launcher. The reason why the Ubisoft Game Launcher still exists is because the game has uPlay...

    Pros:

"This is my first ever review so please be patient...:-)
I have had the game since friday so I have managed to clock more than 25 hours of gameplay and let me tell you - it is addictive as ever! All the features from previous games are here but every single thing is better. You can climb faster , kill quicker and charm the ladies more efficiently (just joking).
The gameplay is a killer for me - you can do whatever you please - what a very good sandbox playground! Assassins missions ,...

4 Star Rating Superb, unmissable game with annoying controls
By: Nicholas Sales, on October 21, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Although this is a 4 star review, I want to be clear that ACII is the "best" PS3 game I've played yet. There are many great things about it - the only let-downs are, annoyingly, aspects of interaction with the game.
Anyway, a short list of what's Great, Hmm, and Grating.

    Great:
    - Concept
ACII's concept (and the AC-family's concept) is brilliant, combining familiar and unfamiliar historical conspiracy theories with medieval/renaissance combat, stealth, history, science...

    5 Star Rating Fantastic Game
By: Cattius, on March 23, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Well, what can I say; AC2 was incredible and this has somehow managed to improve on it. I was worried about two things when I bought it - first that the only playable area being Rome would feel restrictive, and second that it would feel too much like an expansion pack to AC2 rather than a fully-fledged game in its own right. Thankfully I have found neither of these to be problems. Rome is absolutely enormous, so it doesn't feel like you're trapped inside one area, and there are also other...

5 Star Rating Pretty darn good
By: Dave Mcconnachie, on November 19, 2010
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Once again the makers of the Assassin's Creed franchise have struck gold. The original game was good but repetitive so they improved on it, listened to what players were saying and gave us Assassin's creed two -better than the first yet with a couple of flaws. Brotherhood on the other hand is a further step up the road to perfection.

Graphically it is more or less identical to assassins creed 2, maybe a wee bit more polished in places and eagle vision seems to have been tweaked a wee...

    Pros:
    Cons:

"I had the first Assassin's Creed but hardly played on it. I will have to revisit it now, but it is not the same as this one.

This is wonderfully crafted and pretty enthralling from the start. The graphics, once you get to renaissance Italy are absolutely superb.

The missions are varied (unlike the first) and the game reminded me very much of Batman Arkham Asylum- which was a game I bought cheap not really expecting much and it turned out to be probably the greatest game I...

    By: M. Palmer, on March 5, 2010
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Ubisoft seems to now been crippling all their new games with a draconian DRM solution that means you need an always on internet connection and an Ubisoft account to play the game, even for singleplayer. If I want to play the game on a long journey I can't, if I want to play the game in a hotel on a business trip I can't, if I want to play it whilst staying at my parents who don't have the internet I can't. Even worse if your internet connection blips for any reason the game freezes which is...

5 Star Rating II times the awesome
By: Max Porteous, on November 29, 2009
    Pros:
    Cons:

"There was a lot of hype concerning Assassins Creed 2. Along with some concerns; was it just more of the same? Would they fix up some of the problem areas? Could you actually swim?

I'm critical of games and movies. Very much so. So believe me when I say 'Get this, and don't look back.'
Assassins Creed was a good game with fun elements and some really great moments, let down by a few flaws and some slightly grating missions.
Its offspring is not only two in number, but twice...
