5 Star Rating Great game for teenage son.............
By: Keith Brandon ????, on January 6, 2018
    Pros:
    Cons:

"My Son was very happy with this game. Originally purchased brand new game but had to go back. Managed to buy 5 of the Assassins Creed from the Amazon used collection for the same price so he was over the moon.

Arrived in perfect condition and very quickly. He says it is a very good game offering different aspects to gaming with strategy and good old fashioned action

2 Star Rating Decent at best, a big let down for fans
By: Rubben Delgado, on February 16, 2014
    Pros:
    Cons:

"For someone who has played all the games from the series, this is by far the one I least enjoyed playing through by far.

The main protagonist is forgettable at best, most of the missions offer little to no freedom and there's no reason to push you for the end other than just getting over it for series plot purposes. But not all are bad news, the Frontier is a wonderful place to lose yourself in and the historical setting and the side activities are very appealing, to the point that...

    5 Star Rating Superb bargain
By: Holmsey from Yorkshire "holmsey2", on September 16, 2010
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I had the first Assassin's Creed but hardly played on it. I will have to revisit it now, but it is not the same as this one.

This is wonderfully crafted and pretty enthralling from the start. The graphics, once you get to renaissance Italy are absolutely superb.

The missions are varied (unlike the first) and the game reminded me very much of Batman Arkham Asylum- which was a game I bought cheap not really expecting much and it turned out to be probably the greatest game I...

5 Star Rating Killer Fun, Killer Price!

*The original game released in November 2007, now it's in the Classics Range which means you're basically getting it half-price. I picked it up last week and if you haven't yet read any of the 208 or so reviews for the original game you can wade though this one!

Assassin's Creed is what you'd get if you set Grand Theft Auto in the Holy Land back in 1191 A.D. The fist fights are there, your sword replaces the Uzi, your throwing knives replace the rocket...

3 Star Rating Gobsmacking Graphics; Gameplay is Like a Smack in the Gob
    By: J. Patching "panzer-attack", on January 3, 2008
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Assassins Creed gets top marks for style. The graphics are astounding and everything about it is just so slick, even down to the loading screen. For the first hour or so of playing the game you'll be perfectly happy just wandering around and basking in how gorgeous everything looks.

However, the gameplay itself is somewhat lacking. Assassins creed bascially consists of 5 or 6 "sub-games" (such as pick-pocketing or flag collecting) that you have to complete again and again...
