A quick warning... By: Gunny, on November 9, 2014 Pros: Cons: "This is an add-on, or expansion, and not a complete game. I unfortunately made that mistake as I do not have the original DW8. While the game is completely playable in its own right, the lack of the majority of the storyline missions means you only have access to 'extra' missions in Story mode, which was a complete blow to me. The gameplay itself is pretty much as you'd expect and looks nice and crisp. But I am personally not a fan of the 'rock, paper, scissors' weapons... |

Great price for the amount of content By: M.Robb, on April 21, 2014 Pros: Cons: "Firstly, this game is a great price, yes it is just basically an up scaled ps3 port with an expansion, but believe me if you are a dw fan then its totally worth the upgrade/buy. Or if you are new to the series then this is a great start point. Not only do you get an up scaled version of dw 8 on the ps3, but you also get the xtreme legends stuff aswell. Like new characters loads of new weapons and new story missions. So that's about £50 total for both games on the ps3, but only £30 on... |

I thought Graces F was the Apex of the Tales series, i was wrong! By: michael, on August 21, 2013 Pros: Cons: "Tales of Xillia is simply a must buy for any Tales Fan, end of story. The rest of this review is for people new to the Tales series Now ive gotten that out of the way the game itself. For JRPG fans this is about as good as it gets, the Tales series is right now in the sweet spot that Final Fantasy was back in the heady days of VI and VII; Pure unadulterated JRPG goodness. COMBAT Unlike most of its competitors the Tales series has never opted for boring menu driven... |

So much more challenging! - Minor issues which will probably be Fixed soon. By: DMR "Daniel Rosato", on July 25, 2013 Pros: Cons: "As an avid Dynasty Warriors fan (played all titles since DW3), I can confidently say this is revolutionary to the series. The sheer amount of graphical upgrades alone make the mind boggle, with a whole range of new characters to choose from, and therefore many new weapons to try out! The maps are MUCH more challenging, and more detailed with strong emphasis on tactics, in terms of getting to a certain area on the map. There are 3 main game modes to choose from,... |

Amazing unique game! By: Ryan "R.McC", on July 23, 2013 Pros: Cons: "This new Dynasty Warriors game has finally changed in a good way because it's added better gameplay such as being able to start at camp before a battle and buy weapons, when your finished in the camp you talk to gatekeeper/leading officer and the gates open and your straight into the battle. This is much more fluent than the other Dynasty Warriors games because of this. When your in battle it's also alot more realistic in the sense that you can't just go and kill the whole enemy side by yourself... |

A return to form with all promises delivered. By: FellDian, on July 19, 2013 Pros: Cons: "At the start of this review I have currently beaten the Wei campaign and am working through the Wu campaign, and it has been perfect from the get go. Koei truly delivered this time with a perfectly rounded DW experience. The story is spot on, the new characters flesh out the battles and push the narrative further. I have been playing this series since Dynasty Warriors 3 (With the apartion of 6) and this has been innovative and fresh. The new weapons system is astounding, every... |

A great game, but unwanted surprises. By: FellDian, on February 22, 2013 Pros: Cons: "I have only been playing this game for about two hours but so far it has blown me out the water. The new battle system with strategems and bases is well designed, the new mission types and objectives make it a far more engaging experience and ultimately more rewarding. The former DLC weaponry has been brought in to the game as proper, with unique musou moves attached to free officers based on them. As well as the return of the items system which takes over from the "Skills" in... |
