    Pros:
    Cons:

"I recieved this game for Christmas but only started playing it a few weeks ago; however so far it has been really entertaining, even though there are a few faults. It is full of duels, solving puzzles and searching for hidden objects- there is something for practically everyone unless they like being bored. To add to that, the things that are a little upsetting in the books and films have been made suitable, even hilarious, for children especially. One of those things- Ron taking the poisined...

By: Cavysqueak, on January 6, 2012
    Pros:
    Cons:

"My husband & I love the LEGO series of games as they are so easy to play as two players. They suit both of us, my husband being a regular gamer and myself liking puzzle type games. This latest Harry Potter game does not disappoint. There are new features and new spells to learn as well as the 'old' spells which appear in the first HP game. The dark tone of the books / films does come across, but so far (we haven't completed the game yet) it hasn't spoilt the gameplay, in fact it has added a...

5 Star Rating Harry Potter Lego
By: Mrs. H. Burke, on November 22, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"If you enjoyed years 1-4 then you're going to buy this anyway.
You won't be disappointed. It's the same concept, as expected, with the added extra of duels which at times become a little tedious.
I'm no video game expert, to fully complete at 100% took me 17 hours. I'm guessing that's about average for a part time gamer. Seemed a little shorter than 1-4 but maybe that's just my gaming has improved since 1-4.
Overall I enjoyed the game. I'm a big fan of the Lego game...

4 Star Rating Bigger than 1-4 but not really any better. And alas it is quite glitchy
By: Mr. A. J. Frost "adrianjfrost", on November 20, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Ok so we havent played this much yet but with the Lego games you do tend to get a good sense of what's on offer fairly early on. And it is pretty much a follow on from Harry Potter 1-4, which brings both good and bad

The 'good' is the sheer fun and attractiveness of the game, especially in two player. We played 1-4 as a family game and people could drop in and out at will with it all working seamlessly most of the time. That is true again (the lack of online co-op is shame but not a...

4 Star Rating A magically fun funny game
By: Stampy, on October 26, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

    "Lego Harry Potter

Having purchased and loved the Lego Star Wars and Indian Jones games I knew I would need to check out this version of Lego tell tale madness and am glad I did.

This game follows similar patterns to traditional Lego games. You have the ability to play as Harry, Ron and Hermione as you explore Hogwarts and unlock all various puzzles and tasks. The game follows the movie storylines from years 1 to 4 and with some very good funny exerts in to, albeit not as good as...

5 Star Rating A fun game accompanying a magnificent story
By: William Strickland, on August 4, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I purchased this item to enjoy over the summer holidays and boy, was it entertaining!

LEGO have managed to recreate many of the settings, such as Hogwarts, Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, which are dearly cherished from the books, fabulously and the 'legoness' does not detract the magical quality of the Harry Potter series.

The gameplay is also very exciting. Each of the four years has six 'missions' but players can also freely explore in between. Following completion of all...

2 Star Rating A pale shadow of previous Lego titles for PSP
By: C. Bale "geodrake", on February 10, 2011
    Pros:
    Cons:

"The first three Lego games ported to PSP were fantastic; great controls, graphics fun to play. Sadly, this title is nothing like the others, Traveler's Tales chosing to save money and port the DS version over rather than create one unique to PSP. Thus, mini games such as potion making and building ladders which were originally created for use with a DS stylus and controls are having to be played using PSP controls and it just doesn't work well. Also, the only being able to jump between fixed...

4 Star Rating Great game once you get past the workarounds and hardware requirements
    By: Wighthouse65, on July 9, 2010
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Best (and simplest) LEGO game yet and suitable for all ages.

Excellent tech support (and you most likely will need it). Be sure your machine WELL EXCEEDS the basic hardware requirements required for the game to function properly. I would even recommend that it surpasses recommended hardware specs for a trouble-free gaming experience as this game makes some serious demands on your system if run with all options enabled.

I had many issues and challenges with this game the...

5 Star Rating Another cracking title in the Lego series
By: Booklover, on June 27, 2010
    Pros:
    Cons:

"We have been waiting for this game for ages and I have to say it was worth the wait. My son is a massive Lego fan and also loves all of the Lego video games and has them all on PC, Wii and DS! I have never actually been tempted to play any of them as they are not my usual sort of game but as I love Harry Potter so much I decided to give this one a go with my son.

The game controls are very straight forward and I love the fact that you can't actually die - you just respawn and lose...

5 Star Rating Hogwarts comes alive
By: StarWarsFan, on June 25, 2010
    Pros:
    Cons:

"We were lucky enough to get our shiny pre-order copy yesterday! As avid fans of the lego series, my husband and I sat down to play last night, slightly apprehensive after the disappointment of Indiana Jones 2 (which looks gorgeous, but not so much loving the gameplay..). Be not afraid, this is WONDERFUL!! Much more has been made of the hub this time, using Diagon Alley to perfection. Also, as a Harry Potter fan, after playing the EA games I thought Hogwarts might seem rubbish. It really is...
