good By: Matt, on April 23, 2018 Pros: Cons: "I remember playing this first on PS2 several years ago now, it is a good game for its story though that is slower to get into there's a lot more racing than anything, its open world so you aren't racing around a track so much, the scenery is beautiful to look at. Multiplayer is only online, it works but there's hardly any users that go online. My Gamertag is Giantmonster97 if anyone on here is up for a game?! |

silly and cheesy but still fun nonetheless By: VincentA, on June 4, 2013 Pros: Cons: "The Crash Time games have always been a bit silly and cheesy. That's part of their charm. They are not meant to be takes as seriously as the much more dramatic Need For Speed games. They are arcade-style combat racing games where destructibility is a big component, hence the title 'Crash Time'. You do missions both as a cop and as a criminal. So you can think of them as Flatout combined with Hot Pursuit. What makes this series unique to me is that they focus on... |

Tries to hard to be something its not.. By: A. P. Hume "aph", on May 24, 2013 Pros: Cons: "As a disabled and elderly person I am relatively new to the world of ps3. about 3 years ago a good friend suggested giving the ps3 a try as being house bound was getting me down, I took to it like the proverbial duck to water but only with racing games. I now own most if not all racing games on the ps3 and would like to think I am quite good at most of them, from GT5 too my favorite need for speed, so when a new one comes along, I pre order it as soon as I see it advertised and with... |

Average Title, Average Value By: mosta67 "mosta67", on September 29, 2011 Pros: Cons: "EA have correctly put this middle of the road title in the appropriate range - for grandparents buying something inexpensive for an undemanding grandchild with a few hours to spare; look no further. From the Need For Speed Most Wanted era, it's an improvement on NFS Carbon, as it restores the battles with police, and has no damage model - your little Lotus Elise might as well be Batman's Tumbler/Batmobile as it T-bones Nissan GTRs as if they weren't there. The odd evade, destroy and... |

My sons review "Brilliant game" By: puffin, on December 17, 2010 Pros: Cons: "This is a brilliant game. The 75 events are cool and the cars are nice, but the pictures above aren't the ds version. You don't get a vayron (4th picture) or a lotus (3rd picture) or an Audi (5th) and no guns in the ds game. There are 20 cars and plenty of upgrades. But overall a fantastic game. If you have read the first review most of it is wrong .If you think this is a bad game you are wrong!!! P.S There is no free roam though. |

Probably the best skate game but... By: Mr. S. Heptinstall "Millenwagon", on September 4, 2010 Pros: Cons: "This is possibly the best skate game to date. However, it is still basically exactly the same as the previous 2 installments, just a slightly improved version of the second. The graphics and controls have improved very goodly, it looks way more realistic graphically, and the new map feels a little fresher and more enjoyable to explore (compared to the blue washed san van which was still very good, but a little bland at times). There are different difficulty settings simply... |

A Fine Game for the PS2 (Recommended) By: M. TERRY-BEDFORD "M4rcu5 GT96", on September 26, 2009 Pros: Cons: "Need for Speed Undercover on PS2, this just sounds fantastic! It is fun to play and includes lots of fantastic Races, Challenges and Cars but thier is some let downs. (<The Good>) Lets start off with the good about the game here, it is very fun too play and has many fun challenges and a big amount of cars. It is also very good with the Force Feedback Wheels too. Cars: This game includes lots of good cars that is more than what you expect in a PS2 version of... |

NFS is back with a bang! By: , on April 20, 2009 Pros: Cons: "EA have taken a long shot with Undercover, taking the leap from street racing to undercover cops, but it's certainly paid off. For once there's actually a story, placing you in the position of an undercover cop who's working up the ranks, trying to uncover an import smuggling operation. Don't worry if this puts you off, because it doesn't take over the gameplay because the normal police don't know you're one of them. There's still the classic cruiser smashing and bashing and, oh yes, the holy... |

No need for this Speed By: GizmoGeek, on April 4, 2009 Pros: Cons: "This maybe not the worst game I've ever played, but it is a pretty poorly made game, considering EA's reputation with the NFS series. How is the game? Well, in one word: Bad But just to be honest, here are the positive and negative aspects of it: First, the good: 1. Features a great variety of wheels, from street cars to high end exotics, and the cars themselves are quite well-detailed. 2. Features "speedbreaker" (exclusive to... |

Need for speed: Its good! By: Xander, on January 27, 2009 Pros: Cons: "Most people are complaining about this game, but lets face it, they usually just think about graphics! HEY!!!! You dont buy a game cause it looks like something by Roy Lithenstine, you buy it cause its fun!!! You play a driver working for Agent Chase who wants you to go deep and become one of the gang in illegal car smugglers, dealers, and violent gangs Once you get their trust, or get onto a bigger lead, you bust em, by taking them down Now, undercover for the... |

Honestly, this is the worst nfs game I have ever owned> By: Mrs. Jane Knight, on January 11, 2009 Pros: Cons: "A few weeks ago, I tried out Need For Speed Undercover on a PS3. It was very good and I decided to get it on my psp. I purchased it for £30, got home and switched it on. As soon as I got on career mode I tried a race. It was totally boring and there was nothing new about it that I noticed apart from the fact that your heat level now goes up alarmingly fast. The graphics were about the standard of Need For Speed Hot pursuit, released around the year 2000. Not too good for a game of late 2008... |

Black Ice. By: Mr. Adrian Lawler "Xeon", on November 27, 2008 Pros: Cons: "I've just bought this game and only barely played it, but already I can see issues that need addressing. After starting up the game and loosing the cops in the opening chase, I was dropped into free roam in a Nissan 240SX a great car by any standards. I use a Logitech G25 Racing Wheel which works great in every driving game I have - except this one. Trying to control the car was a nightmare, the wheel had zero feel to it, not even the tinyest bit of feedback making... |

A good NFS game but could do better By: Mr. D. St John Moore "Dan St John Moore", on November 24, 2008 Pros: Cons: "Okay I bought this game yesterday with low expectations after reading the reviews on the web. Shortly after I started to play my concerns were put to rest. Undercover is a HUGE improvement on Pro-street, the NFS franchise has returned the racing to the streets and gone back to how things were, and it is much better for it. Admittedly the open world could be so much better as there doesn't seem to be a reason for it, except of course to test your cars and cause trouble with the... |

SURE, FLASH & RIMS - BUT WHAT IS REALLY AT WORK UNDER THE HOOD? By: NeuroSplicer, on November 23, 2008 Pros: Cons: "Yet another EA release which, gameplay and graphics problems aside, suffers from the bundled DRM scheme: SecuROM with Limited Installations. This is a well known scheme based on a custom-made augmented version of SecuROM 7+, used for over a year now (from BioShock to Mass Effect, Dead Space and Red Alert 3) and it has been proven to offer overall...zero protection from piracy. But, of course, fighting piracy was never amongst its aims. SecuROM is NOT a Digital Rights... |

Need for Speed Carbon: Own The City By: Coolskin, on December 29, 2006 Pros: Cons: "I decided not to buy any of the previous Need for Speed games on the PSP, simply because they looked rubbish on the back of their box! But I thought I would risk it with this one, and I've been quite happy. Unlike other Need for Speed games, there are a great selection of 'beautiful' cars, unlike the usual 'pimp mobiles,' of which there still are a few for that kind of racer. The visual is great. The frame rate keeps up to speed without any jolts, which is very handy when you're... |

second best game if you like modding By: "azeem_shaukat2001", on November 11, 2005 Pros: Cons: "need for speed underground is currently the best modding game out there, but if you like modding cars and escaping police then need for speed most wanted is the game for you, better graphics and gameplay then the underground, but this game rocks to, i clocked the stroy line in 4 days. if you cant afford most wanted then this is the game for you |
