Japanese innovation at its finest By: J.Fortune, on August 20, 2013 Pros: Cons: "This game is fantastic, I would highly reccomend it if you like games such as lost odyssey or final fantasy. The graphics are beautiful, as is the voice acting. The gameplay is the dealbreaker. It's unlike anything I've played before. The closest game I could compare it to is Valkyria chronicles on the PS3. The story is deep and will seem confusing at first, but after a while you'll get into it. this really came as a suprise. I honestly hadn't heard of this game until It was reccomended to me. |

Yet another brilliant, unique JRPG from Tri-Ace By: L. H. Yeung, on December 30, 2010 Pros: Cons: "After finishing FFXIII I was looking for another JRPG to play and decided to go for Resonance of Fate (AKA, End of Eternity) after all the good things I heard about it. GAMEPLAY The reviews weren't kidding when they say you die a lot and to make matters worse, you have to pay some your hard earned money to get a second chance to fight. It's a steep learning curve; figuring out the right balance between direct damage, scratch damage, gauge breaking, Hero Actions and... |

Different, yet in a very good way By: Ricky C, on July 19, 2010 Pros: Cons: "This is truly a brilliant game which deserves much more recognition than it has gotten so far, this is probably due to it's badly timed release, at approximately the same time as Final Fantasy XIII. I have split up my review into different categories. STORY I think in terms of JRPGs, the story isn't the best one created, as i have had times where i'm not entirely sure whats going on sometimes. But there is a bit of humor in it, as well as the usual sad moments which so many... |

A vast and exciting, but flawed JRPG By: Mr. Ja Vaughan "JV", on April 15, 2010 Pros: Cons: "If you've played a Star Ocean game before, you've no doubt bought this game, completed it and are now attempted to obtain the 900 battle trophies. This review however, is aimed at people new to the series. This game is by no means perfect, it has some pretty serious flaws, but if the linearity of FFXIII doesn't really appeal to you, then this might well do. I've broken down my review into sections about the game to make it easier to pick out whats important... |

Cult Classic in the making By: Warren M. Thompson "Toaster85", on January 4, 2009 Pros: Cons: "This game is a real gem and in years to come will be looked back on with the same fondness as Panzer dragoon Saga. The presentation is flawless and consistent with some of the prettiest graphics of this generation. The game has one of the most accessable and well thought out menus systems on a srpg, so as already mentioned if you're new the to genre you will find the game easy to get into. Voice acting is also of a high standard. The battles are tense but rarely frustrating as you can save... |
