hidden gem By: Prior, on October 16, 2016 Pros: Cons: "Not an great game but definitely a silent/hidden gem on the PS4. I recommend to anyone that wants an easier DS/Bloodborne experience with an interesting story. |

Worth It By: Invision Game Community "Joshua Maddox", on March 14, 2015 Pros: Cons: "From the guys at City Interactive and Deck 13 comes Lords of the Fallen (LOTF), an action RPG that many have accused of cloning the Dark Souls games and just giving them a lick of new paint. To an extent that may be so, but when you have games as successful as Dark Souls 1 & 2 have been you’re always going to find people wanting to match their success, and the best way of doing that is to follow tried and tested methods. For me, I see it as an opportunity to take the best from games like... |

Great little action RPG. By: FallenGrace, on February 24, 2015 Pros: Cons: "I'm a huge fan of role playing games and had been keeping an eye on Lords of the Fallen a long time before it's release. Claiming Dark Souls as it's influences and demo videos really focusing on strategic combat it looked fantastic but I passed on it at launch due to technical issues but with patches released resolving a lot of the problems I finally tried it and i'm glad I did as it's a fantastic action RPG. In Lords of the Fallen you play the role of Harkyn, a prisoner having been... |

Ups and downs but probably not worth the time and headache. By: AH, on February 7, 2015 Pros: Cons: "I liked the idea behind this game and visually it is as stunning as most people on here say but I would have to agree that the combat system just doesn't live up to the games potential. Arguably the system is there to make the game more challenging and just takes time to master but I think there's a big difference between combat that's difficult because its well thought out and clever and combat thats difficult simply because its not very good. Sadly LotF feels more like the latter in my... |

Soulesque, but a great game in its own right! By: Geoff, on February 1, 2015 Pros: Cons: "The first game which I have really enjoyed on the Xbox one since I purchased it. The combat is weighty and satisfying but even as a souls veteran I took a while to get into the rhythm of it. The bosses fights are cool and the loot system is fun. I enjoyed the story (and the notes which add more depth). I just really enjoy the overall feel and theme of this game; by the end of my first play though I had a heavy hitter and was very happy with the ending I chose (three options). I am currently on my... |

Looks like a Ferrari, handles like a Fiat By: Bruce Misra, on November 18, 2014 Pros: Cons: "Pros - Visually very impressive; think diablo, but 3d - (Some) Boss fights are challenging and original, with changing attack patterns. - Combat feels satisfying; strong feeling of weight and force when hitting enemies with heavy weapons - Large number of weapons (few) with special attacks - Many different armour sets, which look really cool Cons - MANY MANY bugs; the game was released unfinished. I encountered many game breaking bugs (PS4) and wasn't... |

Not For Hack and Slashers Or Button Mashers !! By: Brian M., on November 5, 2014 Pros: Cons: "Ist off.If you are not a fan of the Dark Souls series,DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. LOTF is similar to Dark Souls but has it's own identity nevertheless. Ok to begin. LOTF has been described by certain reviewers here as a "Hack and Slash" game !! NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH !! Combat.Very very satisfying but you just cannot "Crash in and Kill Everybody".You will need to think carefully about what Armour to wear for different bosses. For example you... |

A true challenge for fans of the genre By: A. Brookes, on October 31, 2014 Pros: Cons: "If you do not like your games challenging then avoid this game as its as difficult as games get these days. It definitely poses the biggest test to your skills on Xbox One. It's a RPG in a similar style to Skyrim or as many have said Dark Souls. Is it as good as those 2 master pieces? No is the simple answer but it does still offer what no other game on the Xbox one does. It's nothing like Diablo as other reviews have stated. Trust me do not buy as a Diablo clone as you will be massively... |

Updated - Good but WAIT for the major bug fix patches to come out By: QuantumD "QD", on October 31, 2014 Pros: Cons: "Review stands but as a temporary video crash fix .... turn off 'Full Screen' and go with Borderless Windowed - This has drastically cut the number of crashes I was having. Potentially a game I will enjoy (not as slick as Dark Souls but pretty good in another ways, I would give it an 8/10 vs Dark Souls 10/10). However and it is a massive HOWEVER .... it needs a major patch to fix video crash bugs (crashing on a GTX780 Ti) and other random freezes that really frustrate you... |

Lords of the Fallen or Lousy Failure By: Jaffacake, on October 30, 2014 Pros: Cons: "I really wanted to like this game but unfortunately It's not very good. The graphics are quite good, frame rate is poor, the gameplay is at a very slow pace hit couple of times wait until stamina builds up etc but what really annoyed me was the control system. Instead of usual X and Y for light and heavy attacks you have to press the right bumper for light attacks and right trigger for heavy attacks. Whoever decided that approach should not be in the gaming industry because after... |

An excellent action RPG By: Mr. M. Osborne, on October 29, 2014 Pros: Cons: "STORY: Harkyn, a convicted criminal, is released from prison to save the world from a dark god and his army. Standard fantasy trope but very enjoyable nonetheless. Throughout the story you will make decisions, form alliances and exact revenge on the demons of Rhogar. GAMEPLAY: Lords of the Fallen takes a slow and realistic approach to combat. Weapons feel weighty as you swing at your foes with an assortment of swords, staffs, axes, war-hammers and many more between. Combat... |
