5 Star Rating The Best Football Game Ever
    By: A. SNOW, on November 11, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Let's start by saying that Pro Evo is not 'back'. It's actually been good or very good for a few years now. However, this edition feels like the culmination of all the lessons learnt over the years, the feedback received from players, and it is now near perfect. The game plays at an utterly wonderful pace which although at times is furious, can be slowed down if you know what you're doing. These ebbs and flows, times when you slow the game down to get a 'feel' for the opposition, periods when...

2 Star Rating Disappointing on xb1
    By: Mr. P. D. Horner, on October 25, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Firstly, this is the best pes in years. I played the demo and thought it was good enough to warrant a purchase after so many years of disappointment. Truth is, I have genuinely enjoyed the game, so why 2 stars?

Well firstly, the goal keepers are an absolute joke. They literally cannot save anything. It's just so easy to score.

The squads are STILL last year's squads. Absolute joke Konami.

Passing, although beautiful, is a nightmare at times. At times the pass...

5 Star Rating Converted back to PES and here to stay
By: FatGibbon, on October 21, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"Having enjoyed the earlier versions of PES on the PS1/PS2, I decided to give PES 2016 a go after the positive reviews it received and from finally exhausting FIFA since playing it from '10 to '15.

I am writing this after a month's gaming and think it needs to judged on this type of play rather than a 5 minute comparison to FIFA. The gameplay is excellent and feels intelligent, responsive and much more realistic and aligned to the game we all love rather than with the obsession of...

5 Star Rating A REAL football game now!
By: Mervyn, on October 16, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"This is a REAL FOOTBALL GAME, unlike the other one (Fifa 16) the players move off the all much like they do in the real World, which makes it more realistic. Don't get me wrong, I used to be a Fifa fan big time and hated PES, however this version is Brilliant in every way. Presentation is much better and licenses are coming now, so that dreaded having to edit team names & competitions will be a thing of the past in future editions of PES ;o)

    By: Mr. M. J. Connolly, on October 2, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I lived in Japan for many years and PES - or Winning Eleven as it was known - was the only football game worth playing. On returning to the UK I found Konami's game standards had slowed and dropped - PES was no longer the ultimate football game. It looked dated, it was slow, it was broken. I switched to FIFA and up until this year had left PES right at the end of the longest possible barge-pole.
HOWEVER, this year things changed. I got fed up with EA money grabbing and I got fed up with a...

2 Star Rating Disappointing last-gen version port, gameplay wasted by input lag and stuttering
By: SnK, on September 18, 2015
    Pros:
    Cons:

"I played a handful of games, I tried hard to like the game but couldn't. This game has not been designed for PCs, it is a last-gen console port. For instance, it is impossible to alt-tab while playing and video options are only reachable through a "settings.exe" file in the game folder... As for the main points that I could notice:

    Pros:
. Offline mode vs. CPU is actually quite nice in hard difficulty.
. Animations of world-class players are realistic (e.g. Kun...
