    "Fun version of a very good game. Optimisation is terrible though. The in-game anti aliasing is dynamic and ends up as a blurry mess some times, even with a GTX1080. Just turn the AA off and use super sampling and it looks good

    "Remembering the game that kicked this all off I was keen to test once again the reboot of a classic empire.

    Graphics naturally much improved and while the weapon selection is frustrating and takes some getting use to it is a good game. Some infuriatingly challenging sections which have taken me weeks to get round and still haven't finished it.

    If you like fantasy stories and first person shooter games give this a try.

    "Takes me back to the good old days of shooters! This is an FPS at its core, this is how an FPS should be! Shooters are usually too technical and require too much thinking, however with Doom I'll never get bored of charging in with a super shotgun and watching heads pop!

    The 60fps is lushcious, I almost got a hard on!

    "So an early review from the campaign mode, only 30 mins in but will update.

    The feel is (happily) like the Doom of old, fast,fluid & great fun. The new graphics really add to making this a joy to play. This is how I always wished Doom could have been the 1st time around all those years ago. It appears to have been worth the wait.
    The PC settings are a real bonus, I'm pleased to say there are many and a lot of modern features to push any PC.
